nice improvision but thats not the rite way to play it. u have to hit the floor tom wit the china constantly alternating then the fill goes with the mounted toms. listen to the drums seperately from the song. nice work!

This is amazing, but on the main beat where you alternate between the floor tom and the cymbal, it seems like you're making it harder than it needs to be. You're doing it right, but I just hit the cymbal with my left hand and the floor tom with my right.

Ive been doing L snare, LR mid tom and LRLR bass...(repeat obviously) It sounds pretty close but im not sure. Sorry to ask again lol

Mix the hands and the feet in semiquavers. Basically:

Right hand; left hand; right foot; left foot.

Then change it up to any pattern of two's. For example:

Right hand; left hand; right foot; left foot; right foot; left foot; right hand; left hand; right foot; left foot; right foot; left foot...

Practice speeding it up and it'll be very useful! Most distinctive fill in metal.

get sabian b8s or xs20s. or the paiste beginner cymabls, don't know what they are lol. and get a tama imperialstar kit with a DW 7002PC double pedal.

I really like meinl cymbals but haven't had a chance to get them yet, the 2 cymbals I have had and liked alot were a z custom 17" zildijian and then I had an alpha paste cymbal that sounded really good, I have fucking practice pads on these fucks now so it blows but when we find a new jam spot I will get some new cymbals, and drum wise I'm bout to get a tama starclassic whenever I can save up the money for it, right now im just using a pearl export.

my dad had pearl drums back in the day and i though they sounded pretty good. ill be buying myself a kit when i get a job. i would like 2 separate bass drums but i think that'll cost too much. thanks for the advice

damn thats whatsup, I had a 91 pearl export, half of it at least and it sounded amazing, all the older shit was how its supposed to be now its just a bunch of reissues and shit that they will never be able to perfect again, 2 seperate bass drums is the way to go its much much louder and it's alot funner to play imo, just check some shit out on ebay maybe it will come up and np man let me know how everything turns out.

allright the one at :12 is pretty simplistic, all it is, is rlrl but alternating between your feet so its rl hands then rl feet and you switch between the snare and toms for the r part of that, for the beat at 1:35- ill just make a quick little video for you here in the next few days because I cant really explain that one
