Quartz crystal and glass are the same thing. Glass is made from sand and sand is small grains of quartz. Great video though :)

@outforbl00d Quartz are harder then glass its not quite the same. Glass are liquid if you look at old windows they are thicker in the buttom.

I dont think window glass can posses energy as quartz does, then the industry would use it instead of quartz.

Personally, I do not believe that a mineral or glass can possess energy, but hey, whatever gets you through the day :P

@SakhyaVaikuntha I am sorry to say it but you couldn't be more wrong.  If we were able to use quartz as batteries and a source of energy they would most definitely be used worldwide. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the Earth's cust, so if it was true that they apparently possess so much energy, they would be the number one energy source.

Also, just as a side note, I am a Geologist, I know a lot about minerals :P
