  • The meteor shower looks like lasers hitting the mountain. Nice capture.

    Trentemøller-take me into your skin

    enjoy the space music :)

  • What percentage of this can you actually see with just your eyes?

  • humbling.

  • Superb -- great quality, very clean -- what are the details on exposure, interval, etc?

  • 0:20 make me feel so little , like nothing matters , i wonder what could be found in space

  • That meteor ion cloud dispersing is so cool. Something like that could only be seen with time exposure. I live way out in the Bald Hills and have completely blacks skies. This is inspiring me to do more specialty photography. The Milky Way cloud is very visible at my house.

  • There are some serious problems with the editing. Still I did enjoy the part with the flashes.

  • Take a hike up Mt Rainier; stay the night at one of the camps high up on the mtn, and see more stars than you could in the city by far! Leave the light pollution!

  • You can actually see the milky way thats pretty cool.

  • Now that was Awesome! Great footage.

  • waw. thats so cool

  • this is astrophotography, or maybe videography. but yea, you cant see most stars and clusters with the naked eye, so, to get this kinda photo with the space clouds and galaxies and such, you point a high power telescope with tracking ability towards the horizon, and you mount your dlsr camera witha mounting peice onto were the eyepiece of the scope is. you use long time or short exposures and you get these shotss. im jusst a fashion photographer i could be wrong, but its ssomethng like that

  • I would have never figured out the lights on left side of the moutain are hikers. Great video.

  • absolutely AMAZING!Stunning and Beautiful!!!

  • Yeah! Okay that's just absolutely awesome. Great upload.

  • I live in the middle of no where, Arkansas and I have never seen the sky like this. Does the camera make the sky look like this? I have a telescope, but still, the sky has never been blue at night, only black. I just want ot know how to see the sky like this.

  • @lovelyaley Setting aside location and elevation, the camera has a bigger lens than your eye and was set to longer exposures.

  • @DoctorMeh oh wow, that's really neat. I wish I could see the sky like this with my eyes.

  • This is what the sky actually looks like. Back 40 years ago, there wasn't that much light pollution. Small Telescopes were all you needed for stargazing. Today, you can't even make out the Northern Star from some cities because of the massive amount of light pollution. Great Video. Favorite it immediately.

  • Wow

i never seen so many stars

    i live in the city

    i took an astronomy course

this year for summer school =]

  • what planet is that coming into the video from the left, im guessing jupiter mabye

  • @j10betty I thought that was the meteor?

  • Absolutely stunning! What equipment did you use to capture all of this?

  • thats some high velocity !
