  • thanks for showing it slowly. all the tutorials seem to make everything go FAST!

  • Apparently, I've been doing the blanket stitch wrong. This is going to make things go a lot faster! Thanks so much for the video!

  • thx

  • Not very good at following instructions you did a great job

  • Wow I've never been able to understand written instructions before so i thought it must be really hard! But this is actually quite easy! thanks! :)

  • Thanks! i didnt know it was that easy!

  • thank you so much, your instructions were very easy to pick up. I am making owls and needed this stitch for the eyes.

  • Thank you for the simple tutorial!

  • omfgggg thank you

  • I-It was that easy?

I was struggling with my felt plushies because of THAT?!

Sometimes I hate being a visual learner. >.<

Thanks for the video! You saved the last vestiges of my sanity. XD

  • I have looked at all kinds of tutorials and videos....yours is so easy how to see how to do it up close. Its for my son so i can make him a blanket to help him sleep. Thanks so much!!!

  • thank u so0000 much i like to hand sew so i can use this stitch like a serger

  • @sgntpepper03 It's really a single strand that's been put through the eye of the needle then the ends of the thread are knotted together at the ends. If you watch carefully at the beginning of the video, you'll see the knot.

  • Couldn't make it past the loud music ......

    Ouch!

  • @Texgerard you know your speakers can be turned down... right?

  • @CrimsonBlooDrop hahahaha!!

  • Wow... you make it look so simple. Now I can pass my homework ^_^

  • This is the stitch I used to sew up some guy's scrotum after he decided it would be a good idea to drink and ride a motor cycle in shorts. Think twice before you do something similar.

  • Don't worry about the digital quality of the video its perfectly clear to see and the best and easiest video of the blanket stitch i've seen...just shows you don't need all the editing and fancy intro's and talking to make a great tutorial video that actually helps people!

  • Thank you for such a great demonstration! I needed to do a blanket stitch for a card and was ready to pull out my hair! This video made it SO easy!

  • Thanks! I just did it with a piece of felt, yayy know now!!!

  • It can't really be that easy....can it? *head desk* Well, now I know how to finish the hem on the pants I was hemming. My mom wanted a blanket stitch and I gave her a blank look.

  • Sorry for the poor video quality. I hope to do a new one better at some point. I taught myself this stitch so the technique may be wrong. But it has worked for me so it might work for you. I show two slightly diffrent ways of doing this stitch, one at the begining and one at the end.
