hey i know what u mean by its hard to dig Georgia soil its nothing but clay really thats y i like dry clay during the summer because its a lot easier to dig turst me i dug in a dry clay bed and found a pocket with 35 cents also i have the garrett ace 150 metal detector and its great the dirt advice try it

I always bring water to wash the coins,if you rub the dirt off with your fingers you will put abrasions on it,thats my friendly advise.
