@Gazkhuul Azmodan is one of the prime evils mentioned in diablo1 which is this fat guy .The black soulstone im think is his and needs it cause hes trappd like their were 3 others in diablo2 for diablo, mephisto, and baal they all had soulstones. if you want a better insight look up diablo2 lore and fire a author called forcesc2strategy. he explain the whole story of diablo1 and diablo2 and everything in between.it will explain alot of stuff that you will see in d3 like king leorlic etc

Waw. They just made a kick ass work, am I alone who had freakin' chills in the spine when Azmodean lieutenants and Azmodean himself are waking up ? Amazing textures work, I always loved this gothic style, feeling, in the decors, already present in D1 and D2, this is the big force of this game, it digs darker the atmosphere much more than other rpg.

Don't believe all this fake pictures or cheated videos and don't forget that's just the beta test, I keep on believing D3 will be a killer opus.

@Gazkhuul Basically in Diablo 1, it was all about Tristram, and what was happening there. Diablo took over a hero that saved the town from ultimate destruction, and he corrupted this man. In Diablo 2 you followed this "dark wanderer" throughout the world of Sanctuary to stop him from bringing back the Prime Evils. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal. Where you ran into Andariel, and Duriel, guarding your path to them, and the eventual destruction of diablo, and the shattering of the worldstone. In LOD.
