  • God I hated the guy at ca. 34:00 talking about "static analysis". Whenever Thom cites the CBO or similar analysis it IS dynamic, and even if it wasn't, static analysis is very accurate because the Laffer curve is heavily skewed to the left empirically.

  • THIS VID IS SUM LIBERAL BS. BTW WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, IT ISNT A RIGHT OR LEFT THING, ITS A TYRANNY AND LIBERTY THING. INSTEAD OF THEM SAYING WE HAVE TO RAISE THE TAXES, WHY DONT THEY SAY WE NEED TO END THE WAR ON DRUGS OR END ALL THE OVERSEAS WARS. BOTH ARE FAILING, BOTH R NOT WANTED BY THE PPL AND BOTH ARE MAJOR MONEY SUCKERS. Y TREATING TO END THOSE. THEN PPL MAY SAY YA OK DO THAT. INSTEAD BOTH PARTIES CREATE FEAR MONGERING TO MAKE THE AMERICAN PPL JUMP THOUGH HOOPS.

  • @solman151 Y NOT* THREATEN* TO

  • Smart peole save more and spend less. Invest for the future, gold, silver and stocks.

  • Dear lord some of these guests are infuriatingly ignorant and annoying!!!

  • That guy who was on the show speaking about global warming was one of the most clueless deluded men I have ever heard speak! The USA is definitely way way way behind Europe and Asia when it comes to investment in renewable sources. He should actually do his research before he agrees to do an interview.

  • On the Seton Motley segment, I agree with Motley, but not for the reasons he puts forth. I think that government is too big. Large governments tend to become too intertwined with large corporations, which ushers in fascism, which is really a marriage between corporations and government. In that sense, I don't agree with government growing too large, but Motley's numbers are inaccurate and he refuses to focus on the two areas where government is bloated and overspends: prisons and the military.

  • I like how he assumes the fed pays for the roads. That's what state tax is for buddy. Amazing that people still can't see we've been invaded from within.

  • i am not speaking of tom or his guest at 12 mins they are what i have heard called "the american system" economicly but when he says republicans have a poster of ayn rand, democrats have a poster of milton friedman who is just another face and disciple of ayn rand. just saying for any of the bleeding hearts out there that wanna join democrats or call themselves democrats.

  • Defend the elite to the end... of the economy, the environment, life on earth. Even the elite who are rushing around trying to grab as much wealth as they can get away with before complete collapse will in the end die with the rest of us. I guess that's some consolation. We need a new system, one that supports the people of the world & the Earth not just a few sociopathic uber wealthy. Thanks for exposing Thom. Maybe enough will eventually listen.

  • The "violation of the constitution" argument is getting lame and annoying.

  • Comment removed

  • Republicans raise taxes by 10%, Demarcates comes in and offer "only" 7% tax raise. We all praise Demarcates ... then two years later, Demarcates recommend raising taxes by 5%, Republicans comes in and cut taxes by 2%, we all praise Republicans. So... it's basically "good cop, bad cop". The devil comes as savior and the slayer. 80% of Americans are at the tipping point, too bad we don't have the education to do something about it.

  • Tell Mr Selig thanks for the comic relief...

  • David Selig is on another planet! He is got to be getting paid from someone to sound like a stupid clown. badly informed. Spewing propaganda. I am glad you had him on. some people need to see the light. for those who can't see the light, you need not look at this program. because your mind is stuck on stupid.

  • why are republicans and libertarians so adamant to live by the principles that rich self indulgent politicians created.Personally i don't think the constitution is anywhere near perfect and shouldn't be looked upon to solve all of our problems ...

  • thom, i know u like to have right wingers on so you can try to have an honest discussion, but they aren't interested in honesty! if you're going to have a right winger on at least make sure you get someone who won't be so partisan and idealogical. these conversations make me want to blow my brains out. u can see them snickering at their baloney and you can see that they are merely "debating" and not having an honest discussion. there's a better way to have these conversations; please find it.

  • David Selig should have his own segment on Thom’s show. He’s G-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-e-e-e-a-t !

  • Herman Cain - a brother acting like a rich white guy.

  • The last few minutes were very interesting to hear.

  • 40:50 Brian "Kill me"-ade.

    Ok, now thats an invitation....

  • instead of both parties raping us why not say fuck the debt and give the money to the people not threw local governments but just give it out to them and help them create jobs. come on now.

  • Demarcates vs Republicans = two parties constantly sticking their tongues out at each other, while hitting current talking points, and preaching failed ideologies that got America in the position it is in today. Both parties are one in the same, childish.
