  • GO THE FUCK TO HELL CHEVERON,YOU DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHATS GOING.ANS YOU GUYS ARE SURE AS HELL NOT CONSCIOUS OR CARING ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE ALL DOING.

"MORE RESPECTIVELY.AND WE WILL NEVER STOP LOOKING FOR OTHER ALTERNATIVES" WHAT A LOAD OF BS.YOU GUYS ARE KILLING THE AMAZON,WHICH IS OUR KEY TO SURVIVAL.

  • Chevon runned by Arabs!

  • haha i was in this commercial :D

  • melanine is the infitine free source of energy for all, and also heals :) Arturo Solís Herrera, MD., PhD. Aguascalientes México. Tel. 014499160048,

  • Not corporate titans but men and women of vision... LOL! Chevron is currently squelching all access to large NiMH batteries through its control of patent licenses in order to remove a competitor to gasoline. This culminated in a lawsuit against Panasonic and Toyota over production of the EV-95 battery used in the RAV4 EV

  • AHH its Tobin Bell hes the voice of this advert thats so cool, I have no idea about oil or if the people care or not but for the fact that this advert has Tobin Bell's voice on it i think its great i don't care if you think im small minded i think hes the best actor and for once his voice isn't scaring me. ILoveSPB x

  • OMG how full of shit can you be?

  • this may be propoganda from an oil company, but still this is such an inspiring commerical...

  • @allan9654 This is sick

  • i cried wachin this commercial so inspiring :*( sniffles*. oh wait.. chevron is evil hehehe no more tears never mind :p :p

  • Ah there are other energy left untapped also could be a problem if we don't burn it up...billions of tons of methane gas trapped under the ocean...a by product of bacterias accumulated every minutes...imagine one day it erupt...like an underocean volcanoes...boom boom-apocalypse.

Chevron should move HQ to Washington or Nevada to escape CA environmentalist. Or at least move to the O.C..

  • Comment removed

  • propaganda, yes. but to hell with it! it promotes alternative energy just the same. :P

  • Money talks

  • No, this commercial is not any more corporate propaganda than any other goddamn commercial on the planet. YOU are the ones influenced by propaganda by assuming "Oil company=bad" automatically without even giving any thought into the fact that an oil company is made up of human beings, not of evil oilbots, and they DO live on this planet, so don't assume they are trying to destroy it just because you can easily put them into a little box. They probably worry about the environment as well.

  • @Botanicalforest

Lol. Chevron proved you so wrong. even after being demanded to pay for the damages in equador, they're refusing to comply. oil company= bad.

  • Come on kids.. Put on your oil goggles!

How about a company that's not an oil company being part of the solution??

  • Chevron had a pipeline leak above the Salt Lake valley today that poisoned

ground water and killed migratory birds. It could have been prevented. but

Chevron values windfall profit over environmental responsibility. Don't believe

    their corporate propaganda.

  • Beware of smooth corporate propaganda prepared by highly-paid prostitutes in the advertising and p.r. industries. Chevron and the rest of the oil industry are lying scumbags, out for short-term profits, and screw the environment and people...WE ARE TALKING TOTAL CRIMINAL SCUM. Just remember the Exxon valdez, and now the BP oil spill in the Gulf...they're killing the planet these m.fuckers.

  • the music....

    so depressing

  • 'Human Energy'....

Gotta love that motto. Forced labor, er, slavery will make a comeback as fossil fuels make a retreat.

Slavery may be illegal in most countries but it still exists in most countries, even the most civilized, like the U.S.

  • I worked for Chervon, this is pure propoganda. Money makes the world go burn!

  • @jenningspony ......Yep, bullshit.

  • Chevron and other companies (and anyone else) will behave when they are being watched.

  • Barry B @ richmonds long wharf supplies me with my loco weed . He sold a $30 bag one time right off da wharf on Sunday.

  • I fully support Chevron, they are working on their quest. And they are producing results. Look at the news. Your eye's will be opened to the truth.

  • What results? Chevron is the biggest douche of almost any big oil company. But really, what results have they produced?

  • They pattened the Nicked Metal High drive (NiHm) battery and wount use for electric cars Gm sold the patten rights to them to savatage the Rav Ev

  • I live in Richmond C.A, thus; I live right next to the Chevron oil refinery and they are a piece of shit ruining the environment and not telling us about their spills, when they know that people fish just miles away. We have had many explosion that have send people to the hospital. FUCK CHEVRON!!! from my personal experience.

  • I bet you moved next to the refinery though, not vice versa. Why move there and then complain about it?

  • Chevron needs to make these kinds of emasculated commercials to make the liberals 'feeeeeeel' good about using energy.

in whiny voice: 'we are not corporate titans. men and women. liberals and conservatives. gays and straights. marching into the future. using energy together.'

Jesus Christ.. I think I am going to throw up from this garbage. Who writes this shit?!

  • The vast majority of people that oppose oil companies for being "environmentally damaging" know tragically little about petroleum operations. Sure, oilfields "look ugly," but in actuality a great deal of time, effort, and money goes into making them as clean and safe as possible.

I'm reminded of a major company being fined exorbitant amounts of money for spilling a few barrels into the ocean. Five miles down the coast, mother nature was "polluting" twice as much per month from natural seeps.

  • Its like saying yeah your super drunk but two more shots won't kill you... They are probably being more earthly friendly here in North America but not in Africa and many other foreign countries where they are untapped.

  • This is a great commercial. It is not about marketing a product, it is making a point that oil companies are very important and live on this planet and care about it too.

  • best commercial ever

  • Chevron is a environment killing corporation.

  • wunderful commercial. love it.

  • love this! spread the word, he is genius!

music is symbiotic by paul leonard morgan. i also love the advertisements. truly beautiful.

  • I worked for Chevron and they really are the epitimy of greed . They violated enviornmental laws right and left .

I once asked my boss about changing to a more eco friendly fuel for our company trucks such as alcohol or natural gas . His reply was "were in the oil business not the green business son" ! They treat thier Union employees pretty bad . How many people did Rockafeller kill back in the early 1900s? 43 ? Just because he didnt want a Union .

  • Ya well I worked

  • Regardless of the advert- I LOVE THE MUSIC!

Found it on Itunes- a guy called Paul Leonard-Morgan, his album is called "Filmtales", and this track is called "Symbiotic"

    I think it's awesome.

  • This is just greenwash emphasizing the 5% non-evil portion of their business so you will overlook the 95% evil portion. It's just a bunch of feelgood lines with no substance. These guys want to expand their toxic tar sands operations, they want to drill in ANWR, they want the north pole to be ice free so they can drill there too.

  • Every time you turn the light of your room, every time you drive your car, you deal with oil and energy. You are a hypocritical that blames the energy industry and lives the comforts they make possible. Move to an Amish town, live like they live then you will have grounds to post your stupid comments. Asshole.

BTW, to the other asshole: Chevron does not have operations in Iraq

  • you are so right and to katakanadian-no oil company would drill in the North Pole because it has never supported life and so their would be no oil reserves there-moron. Also, I would like to point out the fact that Chevron has made more investments in renewable energy than any other oil company.

  • Even if you don't believe in Chevron's commercial... It's not up to Chevron how the future is to unfold, it's in you, me, and all those around you. What YOU do is what shapes the future... One truth in the commercial is that the greatest source of energy is us as humans, when we put all of our resources together, there is nothing we can't accomplish. That's why I like these commercials so much

  • You are so right. It doesnt matter if this was made by an oil company. The message is, only men and women with vision and dedication can save this planet from an unforeseeable future. I would be very proud if I do succeed into becoming an engineer, because I know I would be one of the many other engineers who are contributing their knowledge, time, and effort to our society and to this world to create a better world for the next generation.

  • This ad is empowering, just wow. God, I had never felt this inspired before. Now i really gonna give my 110% to become a mechanical engineer.

  • this is kinda like phil morris saying no to tobacco haha .. except chevron wants to cap the profit margin wherever innovation is..

  • what is chevron? an entity that only serves as a purpose to profit its investors.. this is the classic marketing scheme to 'relate' with the avg joe.. if you saw chevron really creating change you would hear big news by now that they invested large sums into any type of energy because all alternative energy is viable with enough money and that money outweighs the cost of pollution and geopolitical conflicts.. when i mean large .. i mean large enough so ferrari's are sacrificed .. if they care

  • oh cmon that is bs this is just PR to look good just like paris hilton's viral marketing scheme to seem involved in the whole political process

  • I hope noone buys this bullshit.chevron is evil.

  • amazing

  • see deathdealer004, i got your back... damn sinics!

  • 44MONTEREY i imagine that you also noticed that 1 the carges on said case not only were dismised with prejudice but they werent even presed against CHEVRON but simply"some"(notice "some")refinery in california, sctualy the case law reads "JOHN ROE III; JOHN ROE VII; JOHN ü ROE VIII; JOHN ROE X, Nos. 0000--5576169258 Plaintiffs-Appellants,

    v. ý D.C. No. CV-96-06112-

    UNOCAL CORPORATION; UNION OIL RSWL

COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, ORDER Defendants-Appellees." still sure bout that...PLZ chech your facts

  • That's an awesome commercial - thanks for posting it. From now on, I'm gonna fill up my tank at Chevron!

  • CHEVRONS STEALING IRAQS OIL

  • You said it! ExxonMobil, Shell and BP too

  • mankind will only be saved only if you see yourself is the source of energy. Not from the scarcity of oil, gas..whatever. don't be cheated by commercials

  • One of the greatest commercials I've ever seen.

  • This is THE best commercial I've ever seen.

  • @lalala36026 It brought me to tears

  • @lalala36026

The greatest commercial youve ever seen?

You mother fucking moronic tool. Do some research and turn off the TV.... your being brain-washed.

1 Billion gallons of oil was spilled into the Ecuador rainforest between 1970 - 2005....

They apply to your emotions and you line up behind them.

    YOUTUBE XKUNX

    THE TRUTH

  • @xkunx I apologize, I should have been more specific. I fully recognize that Chevron, among other oil companies are terrible and place an enormous strain on our planet. I only meant that the rhetoric used in this commercial was really moving to me, though this does not make me support the company in any way. Sorry that my opinion-based comment caused you so much grief. Peace.

  • @xkunx And Chevron is currently fighting against the $9.5 billion awarded to Equador for compensation and environmental pollution. They are also involved in what will become the biggest environmental tragedy ever iof allowed to continue raping the Alberta sands in Canada. Yeah sure they fucking care. All the way to the bank.

  • This commercials:

    LEADED OR UNLEADED?

  • U.S. District Court 9th District

    D.C. No. CV-96-06112

This case involves human rights violations that allegedly occurred in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. Villagers from the Tenasserim region in Myanmar allege that the Defendants (Chevron-Unical) directly or indirectly subjected the villagers to forced labor, murder, rape, and torture when the Defendants (Chevron-Unical) constructed a gas pipeline through the Tenasserim region. The villagers base their claims on the Alien Tort Claims Act

  • Ladies and gentlemen, one of the many cynics I was talking about in my first comment. Thank you for presenting yourself....Fuckin Toolbox

  • At least they are trying to come up with something to help relieve the strain on our planet, and our suffocation by the middle eastern zealots who have us in a stranglehold over the resource they just so happen to have a huge percentage of under their soil. We must not forget that this is a message of hope. We must also remember that change does not happen overnight, and before they start commercializing alternative fuels, they must be environmentally sound, and cost efficient.

  • Humans as a race have become so cynical, and think they are so smart, and savvy, that they refuse to believe that maybe some people do actually care. Even billion dollar companies. Yes prehaps they may not have in the past, but what if by some chance, they do actually care? Why be so negative, and only be focused on believing that this is all a ploy, or a remarkable marketing scheme? Afterall they really dont need to advertise, Gas sells itself. People will always need gas.

  • I think it's hilarious that people can fall for a multibillion dollar oil company's pathetic attempt to come off socially and environmentally responsible while stealing your money and polluting our environment. I <3 Chevron for apparently succeeding at doing so. ;)

  • as for the advertisement geniousity, i definitley agree... best ad ive seen in a long time.... Props to CHEVRON for finding such a great company to promo them. (wish i'd wour for them)

  • homes, buildings Cities in general that will and curently do need power, where does it come from? thats right oil. Chevron promotes practicioning on providing natural gas to heat your shower, solar to heat your food hydrogen to run factories without the hughe smoke stacks powered by coal and oil, geothermal to power the city lights where you probly live right now, the catch is, they do it more respectfully, more efficiently, better.

  • Alright, here's a couple of rhetorics; yes we do need gas in wehicles and we will continue to do su for a while Chevron does not promote hydro pumps in their stations during this comercial, they promote the research for more ways to achieve energy to live that we need, this means; ( the rest is on the next post)

  • Chevron is trying to say that the reality of the world is that we need oil or all you green freaks can go live in a tent or deal with it

  • yet, you find gas stations everywhere with a giant CHEVRON sign over it. you don't see hydrogen pumps anywhere. cars made still run on oil. and chevron still funds propositions against funding alternative energy research...what's up with that? So i agree with those who find this commercial bullcrap. and i really do not understand why they have negatives for their comments.

  • What song is this?

  • Song By paul leonard-morgan

  • Did anyone notice how the birds fly over a satellite view of Saudi Arabia? What is up with that visual? It looks like they are flying over a wetland then it transitions into the birds flying over Saudi Arabia. Some sort of subliminal message there? When I noticed it the first time, I couldn't believe it. But viewing it again, I saw it and it is clearly there as long as you're not geographically challenged. There is no real context to the message so what are they trying to say?

  • this commercial is brilliant.

    bullshit, yes.

    but advertising genius.

  • THIS IS FUCKIN BULLSHIT AT ITS FINEST. Fuckin Chevron trying to push the public into drilling the found yet UN-TAPPED oil fields like the Arctic (note how a glacier is the first picture after UN-TAPPED). Oh but they are just like you and me....fuckin garbage....No fuckin oil company can say that they are socially and environmentally responsible at this moment in history...Under capitalism I would say that my dollar is more important then my vote/voice...Can I even fuckin boycott Chevron???

  • :S patetic

  • Teh matrix has yoouuuuu!!!!!

  • The pure truth
