The vast majority of people that oppose oil companies for being "environmentally damaging" know tragically little about petroleum operations. Sure, oilfields "look ugly," but in actuality a great deal of time, effort, and money goes into making them as clean and safe as possible.
I'm reminded of a major company being fined exorbitant amounts of money for spilling a few barrels into the ocean. Five miles down the coast, mother nature was "polluting" twice as much per month from natural seeps.

Yes prehaps they may not have in the past, but what if by some chance, they do actually care? Why be so negative, and only be focused on believing that this is all a ploy, or a remarkable marketing scheme? Afterall they really dont need to advertise, Gas sells itself. People will always need gas.

I think it's hilarious that people can fall for a multibillion dollar oil company's pathetic attempt to come off socially and environmentally responsible while stealing your money and polluting our environment. I <3 Chevron for apparently succeeding at doing so. ;)

homes, buildings Cities in general that will and curently do need power, where does it come from? thats right oil. Chevron promotes practicioning on providing natural gas to heat your shower, solar to heat your food hydrogen to run factories without the hughe smoke stacks powered by coal and oil, geothermal to power the city lights where you probly live right now, the catch is, they do it more respectfully, more efficiently, better.

Alright, here's a couple of rhetorics; yes we do need gas in wehicles and we will continue to do su for a while Chevron does not promote hydro pumps in their stations during this comercial, they promote the research for more ways to achieve energy to live that we need, this means; ( the rest is on the next post)

yet, you find gas stations everywhere with a giant CHEVRON sign over it. you don't see hydrogen pumps anywhere. cars made still run on oil. and chevron still funds propositions against funding alternative energy research...what's up with that? So i agree with those who find this commercial bullcrap. and i really do not understand why they have negatives for their comments.

Did anyone notice how the birds fly over a satellite view of Saudi Arabia? What is up with that visual? It looks like they are flying over a wetland then it transitions into the birds flying over Saudi Arabia. Some sort of subliminal message there? When I noticed it the first time, I couldn't believe it. But viewing it again, I saw it and it is clearly there as long as you're not geographically challenged. There is no real context to the message so what are they trying to say?

THIS IS FUCKIN BULLSHIT AT ITS FINEST. Fuckin Chevron trying to push the public into drilling the found yet UN-TAPPED oil fields like the Arctic (note how a glacier is the first picture after UN-TAPPED). Oh but they are just like you and me....fuckin garbage....No fuckin oil company can say that they are socially and environmentally responsible at this moment in history...Under capitalism I would say that my dollar is more important then my vote/voice...Can I even fuckin boycott Chevron???
