  • Meh....seriously, meh.

  • Very true.

    Cool vid ;)

  • I Like it!! Great sound for me in time

My loop in to Boss Gt-8 set for Drive sound wooooow!!

  • is this thing digital? maybe that's what I'm hearing.

  • on the payroll, though. you do a great job of covering up their flaws.

  • nice demo. sounds like they got the EQ pretty close. but as far as the breakup goes, it sounds like every other boss diode clipper. I sure as hell wouldn't call it "amp-like". play it through a truly clean amp, and the signature Boss buzzy silicon diode rasp will come right out, just like in the other demos. its just the cheapest and easiest way to get distortion, and they probably dont have much of a choice due to the massive amount of product they put out. Boss should put you on the pa

  • Now THIS is a demo. I wasn't too sure about this pedal (based on the other demos, especially the idiotic ones Boss actually puts out), but now I believe I'll be purchasing this tonight. Thanks man!

  • Awesome review, amazing play!!!

  • Finally...I have found someone who does good demos!..Thanks!

  • @Sinasl1 vary cool demo ! Just found you channel and subscribed lol

  • Well I bought it. I love it so far. Hope they give you a commission, your demo made all the difference!

  • Pete...great demo! I haven't seen any demo's out there showing how it cleans up as you roll back your guitar volume.....does it get muddy or stay tight and clean like a Vox?

  • do you use ezdrummer o something like that for the music tracks???

  • sounds a bit digital... is it ?

  • would you recommend this if i wanted to play "revolution" by the beatles?

  • I love your video's man! It was good watching you demo some stuff at the LA Amp show this year and I didn't realize you were playing with Don Henley at the Santa Barbara (where I live) Bowl either! Fun stuff. Always enjoyed hearing your opinion on stuff (such as the axe-fx which I also now own)

  • Or just get a Vox Ac30 ;-)

  • @guitarvoxman that would certainly be just a little over $120

  • You sound a lot a like Iggy Pop u sexy fucking beast!

  • Dig your videos and playing :)

  • WOW!! Best video review i've seen to date. Simple, entertaining, to the point, explanatory, awesome tone and awesome playing.

I loved it so much that i went and bought a BC-2 yesterday. my only question to you is what cab are you using with your bassmnan and what speakers? Did you fool around with preamp settings in each song or did you leave it at a standard setting and the rest of it was doe o the pedal?

Keep it up 'cause i'd love to see more of these reviews.

    Thano

  • This is THE BEST online demo I've ever watched. Helluva job man, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • but the amp are a little bit cranked all of your videos!? So its hard to tell how the pedals sounds with a clean amp!

  • This video should be allowed two thumbs up for every click of the "Like" button on the page. Very cool sounds and playing. Thanks!!!

  • Hello Pete,

Have you seen the 2 videos of the 1979 Dumble Deluxe? Crazy overtones! Have you ever come across an amp that has this kind of cool feedback?

  • Just like everyone here, I just love your demos. They are not the "guitar hero" type of bullshit where the demo guy plays a million notes per second and talks about sustain that the pedal gives instead of the sound and the dynamics of the pedal. Have you ever tried any Tech 21 pedals? I'm a huge fan of them and think that it would be interesting seeing what you gould do with the Character Series pedals...

  • @STRUTSINMUNA Thanks! I like the sansamp stuff alot, and I'd like to try the Character series but i haven't yet. They are unique and seem real useful

  • Ok the one idiot that didn't like this must either be 1. Not a musician or 2. Needing to sell every piece of music equipment they've got because their's no hope.

  • @mike31jmb

He needed more than 2 guesses...

  • Did your first song really include bar chords? Steep learning curve!

  • Hi Pete, could please make a review for Boss GT 10, I Own this unit but unhappy to it's sound when using it trough Guitar amp. Thanks & always Good demo anyway.

  • First Boss overdrive/dist. I really really like.

  • VOX AC30 - Now do I win the pedal ;) hehe

  • Fender??

  • great demo Pete...I especially thought the can't explain and bohemian pieces were spot on...will have to check out this pedal

  • great review Pete, nice to hear lots of different sounds,

  • Really effing sweet pedal! But now I think I need an old Bassman as well...

  • great demo Pete, I will have to get down to Sam Ash and check it out, always love the BOSS pedals...sweet man!

  • Great review as always Pete!

  • Hey Pete, how does this pedal compare to the Carl Martin AC Tone? Nice demo as always.

  • I'll say it because Pete can't because legal reasons...... VOX AC-30 ..... The pedal sounds great , I just wish Boss called it a AC3 or something other than BC2. at least call it the VX. Not too thrilled about the color either. Why doesn't boss just cut a deal with VOX like they did with the Fender pedals they did?

  • @spicecrop Are you really going to worry about the aesthetics of the pedal when the tone speaks for itself?

  • @Despised0515 I would not let it stop me from buying or using one, but would you play a pink and green guitar? Yes looks matter to everyone except people who have no taste.

  • @spicecrop not to mention it does not even look like a VOX, the pedal it is trying to emulate. It is the ugliest pedal by Boss I have seen. Will I buy one? yes. but I will look at it as an ugly pedal.

  • Very awesome sound! Great demo Pete.

  • I can't explain.........how I love your playing and gear demos Pete!

  • Awesome review. Do you recommend any loopers?

  • @DayTripperLennon When I looked about a year ago, I really liked the Jamman stuff from Digitech, and the Boss loopers as well.

  • Excellent

  • sound sooooo great man but i would like to heard this pedal in a "boss user" format ,., i mean ... medium budget guitar and amp .... with no session gear,

  • @americ0yrupailla same here man, I would like that with the plexitone also

  • @americ0yrupailla Well the Bassman cost me $350... so there ya go. Not exactly "Boutique" prices! And it is a basic, benchmark clean tone that everyone knows, that's why I use it for pedal demos. It's just a basic "tube amp".

  • @sinasl1 you lucky....$350 for a fender bassman........here in italy it would be 900 euros used (almost $1300)

  • Great demo ,the pedal sounds great.

  • Hey roccckkerrr That was "Tie yer mother down" - What a great pedal! Digital modelling has come a long way!

  • that first queen riff (name eludes me) was spot on tonally

  • Great video! I wonder how it sounds compared to the Lovepedal Englishman...

  • Awesome vid Pete. You really laid out a nice demo on a pedal I never would have checked out. I'm off to Guitar Center! And I liked the correct fingering for the 5h string root bar chords! peace

  • Nice AC-30 pedal :P

  • sounds fantastic, but in fairness i reckon they could send you a dog turd and a cable and you'd get a decent sound out of it! :D

  • I'm sold, I need this

  • Cool bridge
