  • Ok, let me see if I have this right. I haven't heard of Vocalign before but was looking for software that will sync audio and video, Not sure if Vocalign does that, but it seems that I might be able to record a band live, then take their cd and match it with the audio I picked up from the live performance, Am I close? If I am, that would be really neat, perfect audio every time!

  • @JTPromotions that correct.

Its a life saver ! lol

  • just stumbled across this vid looking at other stuff but matching vocals is something i do constantly. never knew about vocaline will download it now thnks for the tip it will save me allot of time

  • @MrSeandoe100 glad I could help

  • YO HOW CAN I GET IT FOR FREE FOR PC AND PRO TOOLS

  • faster way would be to consolidate the tracks then use those for the aligning. instead of bouncing them down. just saying.

  • thankyou for this. beats the hell outta slip editing, and it sounds soooo much cleaner too

  • No offense but if it's gonna take that long, I could've manually edited the doubled track for an entire verse at this point.

  • @Pete803

tthats the beauty of music each person has his or her own way of working.

If that works best for you then good but I work on multiple projects and I simply dont have the time to manualy align parts of the song.

This is quick and simple to use and dose a great job.

  • thats too much steps what version are you using cuz it looks like you cant even use it in protool... its a time waster to be real.

  • @kodyyme On the contrary.

Aligning vocals can be tedious work and with this all u do is export it to this standalone version and import it back into PT and your finished.

How is that too many steps?

  • what version of vocalign are you using 2.9 or 2.7 because i have windows xp too and my vocalign 2.9 is working but wen i drop the wav files it looks like little boxes next to each other not like a regular audio wav file. ?????????

  • @jamilboricua Im using version 2.7

if you could give a little more detail i could give you a clearer answer but If your having trouble with dragging and dropping...

u can also import the audio into the session in protools and just select the new vocaligned track from your audio bin and drag it over the track you intended to vocalign. (dose that make sense?) if u could PM me with a screen capture of ur problem I could help you out a little more.
