Zakir Naik said himself that hoor means compainions and it has not mentioned any real gender. So why is Zakir Naik and Yasir Qadhi's views different from one on another? I don't understand?
@Mirewood There is only one fundamental way of practising Islam. Those who do it violently as you say, are not practising the tenants of the religion correctly in that aspect. Because if you read the Qur'an and the Ahadith, they are very clear and extensive. Nothing contradicts, and so there is only one main way to follow the religion, which from your previous statement, would correspond to the peaceful way I believe.
The word hoor is actually the plural of ahwar applicable to man and haura to woman. It signifies intense whiteness of eyes bestowed upon male or female in paradise. Hoor has no specific gender. They're not for sexual gratification (husband-wife relationship) as how it's being misinterpreted or used out of context as now. It simply means the believers will have companions of pure intellect, which will include, men as well as women. Believers will be reunited with their earthly wife or husband.
Islam is a true religion and Allah is Just. How can you even believe that Allah can be a cruel God to inflict injustice to a certain category of creation? It is absolutely impossible. Whatever rewards that is promised are for all mankind, men, women and Jinn. Verses of Quran have been misinterpreted wrongly by selfish people without true understanding and wisdom. there are clear hadith that state jannah is whatever someone wants it to be. for example there is a hadith where the prophet saws tells us a man in jannah will ask Allah swt for some seeds to grow plants in jannah because these was his hobby in this life. so Allah swt will grant him this. virgins, palaces, etc these are things among many things you can have, it is not limited to these. these are things that would have meant alot to the arabs of the time. today we think differently.
thats fine, remember the Quran only gives a rough outline of what jannah could be. jannah is indescribable. it is described in a way that meant more to the arabs of the time. they wanted palaces, and luscious grapes and rivers because they lived in a dry desert with no vegetaton in mud houses. they believed honour came from having loads of virgin women, this was there society. times have changed. inshallah your jannah will be how you want it exactly like the man in the hadith.

The word hoor is actually the plural of ahwar applicable to man and haura to woman. It signifies intense whiteness of eyes bestowed upon male or female in paradise. Hoor has no specific gender. They're not for sexual gratification (husband-wife relationship) as how it's being misinterpreted or used out of context as now. It simply means the believers will have companions of pure intellect, which will include, men as well as women. Believers will be reunited with their earthly wife or husband.

There are multiple ahadith that there will be such relations in Jannah. Saying you can't do that in Jannah is equivalent to saying you can't kiss or even look at your wife there, "because your body is gone"
Aspects of this world will be restored to us, in a superior form.
"Virgin" is a rough translation. It is implied, but most correctly is "restraining their glances, untouched." There is no lust. It will be as kissing.

Brother if you reach jannah insha'allah, and u just want to remain with your wife, then you'll remain Just with your wife. Allah will reward you according to your desires.
Jannah is a place, for men and women, of fulfilment of desires, that we withheld from in this life.
IF Jannah isn't a place where you'll b happy and that you couldn't possibly desire more, then what is the point of suppressing yourself in this life, in terms of desires.

there are clear hadith that state jannah is whatever someone wants it to be. for example there is a hadith where the prophet saws tells us a man in jannah will ask Allah swt for some seeds to grow plants in jannah because these was his hobby in this life. so Allah swt will grant him this. virgins, palaces, etc these are things among many things you can have, it is not limited to these. these are things that would have meant alot to the arabs of the time. today we think differently.

thats fine, remember the Quran only gives a rough outline of what jannah could be. jannah is indescribable. it is described in a way that meant more to the arabs of the time. they wanted palaces, and luscious grapes and rivers because they lived in a dry desert with no vegetaton in mud houses. they believed honour came from having loads of virgin women, this was there society. times have changed. inshallah your jannah will be how you want it exactly like the man in the hadith.

according to dr.zakir naik, who is a phD in comparative religion and a 'traditional' scholar: The word hoor is actually the plural of ahwar (applicable to man) and of haura (applicable to woman) and signifies a person having eyes characterized by hauar a special quality bestowed upon a good soul, male or female in paradise and it denotes the intense whiteness of the white part of the spiritual eye.
The Quran describes in several other verses that in paradise you will have azwaj (COMPANION).

The verse is talking about being clean, not about passing gas, yes you need to wash yourself if you pass gas it is a part of Islam, but the verse is not specifically about farting..
