This is to big. It should classified as a table PC. Not a Phone. A smart doesn't require much more size than a 3" - 4" display. It won't with well in a pocket otherwise.

Android doesn't really scale that way with higher res. Higher res doesn't mean more stuff can fit. It means you get crisper images, but everything is scaled up so that the content on a 4.8" screen is the same dimensions as on a 3.2" screen.

I read that Archos isn't a full Android tablet, or at least in all the sense of the word. There seems to be some kind of limitation when it comes to the apps and the market. Anyways, I checked it out at Best Buys and I liked it. Too bad it wouldn't function as I'd like it to.

HTC has a rumored 3.7" WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen android device planned for april 2010 according to their newest roadmap leak. other specs include snapdragon cpu at 1ghz, and 320mb ram, 5mpx cam with 720p video recording. u can keep the 4.8" android device which probably wont fit in ur pocket and hv worse dpi/ppi, not AMOLED, leading to a worse display. I'll prefer to get the HTC Bravo.
