  • one thing I wonder two is how do they work if at alll after so many years, is a matter of envirment like to cold to hot or tw humid I wonder howw anhy Scotts wre made and what did they cost for atop of a line Phiilco as likke a the to of the line TV to day I hope I can see and perhaps here one I all most gotone y father said ther is omoros it was gone I nvver got over itoh I got an old Philco 90 and Mystic wahat ever???

  • Last October, I picked up a "Phantom Deluxe" at Antiques Extrav in Adamstown, PA, in complete but non-working condition. I am in the process gathering items needed for restoration. All coils tested functional, the wiring is shot, and the electrolytics are gone. The tubes seem to be strong. Cabinet needs veneer work. This one will be a keeper.

  • one thing I see they were all men thigns changed waterWWII for if you see the TV assembly line all woman for I asume men got better jobs but with Scott I see they had to build ahool radio were as things liek TV sets they move down anassembly line and a woman might soder this thing then down the line to an other but printedd circuts elliminated that even in china
