  • its not the same without ian dancing up there and singing the lyricks which were special to him

  • summer's vocals are horrible

  • Joy Division, New Order... even for the names they are and were the greatest. God forbids if anyone else dies they should call the new group chuck norris

  • Bassline that tells a story, no this is not just a song, this is lifestyle!

  • LOL SO FUCK THE RAIN! :P

  • Hook's bass line is orgasmic...

  • I can't help but say Summer's dancing is awful and fucks up the whole atmosphere of the song.

  • @eclecticbgirl how can it be such a good song? ian wrote every single lyric, and they only meant to him. as much i respect bernard and love new order and joy division they shouldn't be playing this. although i also think that they feel pressured to try and let joy division live for as long as possible. who knows.

  • God, Sumner's vocals are horrible!

  • How the hell does Hooky play bass like that? If I play like that for more than 15 minutes my wrists hurt like hell, how's he managed it for 30 years?

  • @ColdHaze10 Man, he´s a superman look at his hands, he can do anything :)

  • @geistigfrei yeah bernard hasnt really got the voice, but i think peter and stephen are briliant!

  • im loose control again

  • fucking masterpiece wow

  • JD songs never get old. They were just 21-22 back then and managed to put out 2 masterpiece. Ian, you may be lost but never forgotten. How I wish you were here though.

  • Fecking amazing!!! Love you Barney xxxx

  • So fuck the rain!

  • this is my personal favorite perfomance of this song, new order or joy division!

  • Hooky looks like a bass rock god

  • This is not a song to whistle, she loses control and not be happy

  • terrible!

  • peter hook devait etre gymnaste dans une autre vie

  • Fucking good though it is, I wish New Order had found a good frontman early on after Ian, no disrespect. It just lacks a certain je ne se quois. Brill tho.

  • 0:25, 2:01, 2:13, 2:59, 3:12

    Explain yourself, Barney.

  • @cloakroomattendant Your comment made me laugh,he is acting pretty weird...but I think he explained himself in the end.I think he's just emotional and it comes out this way.Cheers!

  • @gio73vanna Pointless displays of asshattery that marred an otherwise stellar performance.. seemed a bit like his inner rock-star trying to break free after all that time playing alongside Curtis who was nothing less than a bolt of lightning on stage.. I'll try not to hold it against him too much!

  • what can you say this is real music!!

  • Ian is looking down and giving his blessing to the band.

  • Barney, you think he's a cool guy, then he starts dancing.

  • @012greenej Haha, so true xD

  • Peter Hook = Simon Gallup + muscle ^^

  • That bass tone is just epic!! Amazing song..

  • En el 5:05 Bernard Summer dice: "Segunda vez que tocamos este tema en 25 años... por obvias razones"

  • @carlosruizc1 A mí me conmueve mucho cuando dice eso...

  • I like this live version very much. Bernard did a great vocal. Peter's bass is awesome !!

  • damn this is good stuff

good job on the vocals to mate!

but damn that bass sounds deadly X___x !!!

  • fuckin banging tune.....

makes me want to grow my hair :)

  • lmfao best part at the end when he says *fock the rain*

  • I love this song. It's sooooooo good.

  • unknown pleasures = most inspiring album of all time

  • BYE BYE DEE DEE!

  • this had to be one helluva show! i've found a couple songs on here! wish i was there! New Order are awesome - but Joy Division! i have no words to describe their greatness. cheers

  • I love Stephen Morris' drumming UNIQUE!!

  • @TheTheriddler23 Joy division were a unique band in every sense!!!

  • fukin bass HOOKY

  • don't be an ass this song is from Ian Curtis' professional experience with epileptics. May God keep you Ian

  • When Hook sings he reminds me of ian

  • curtis

  • This whole gig sounds fucking awesome - the best band in the world on top form.....

  • @ Smudger830 trop genial ...

  • R.I.P....Mr. Curtis

  • Ok, I've listened to these guys solidly since 1983, and partially since 1980. The more time passes the more 'I' think it's hooky who gives this band their uniqueness. He's genre defining for me - no other bassist comes close.

  • long live hooky

  • This song is better with Ian Curtis

  • everything was better with Ian.., unforgetable!

band is the same, but he`s missing and irreplaceable

  • this performance is amazing

  • I love how they all look so intense, but the song is just.....just too Ian Curtis to be intense, haha

  • JOY DIVISION 4LIFE!!!

  • fuck me i wish iw ent this gig lol even if i was soaked wet through id be doing my ian dance as far 2 front as i can! lol

  • hooky=god

  • EERY? ITS FUCKING DEADLY!!!!

  • its kinda eery seeing them peform JD songs...but i'm glad they still do anyway<33...they're too good to not be performed still <3...i wish new order still performed together though </3

  • WHOA...this is SUCH a good version of the song <333!!!!

  • it must feel strange for them playing the old JD song

  • i think that they play only the songs cause this strange feeling

  • and the old JD songs are fucking great

  • they are amazing<3

  • Oh well, not that much considering they ARE Joy Division

  • yes shure

  • no,

when ian was there they were a totally different band,

  • need this song for rockband

  • New Order are at their best when they sing JD songs. Discuss this paradox.

  • best spund of base ever, he owns the stage

  • the sound of the Hook bass is amazing....

  • will keep my 12"ers till the day i die!

  • "fuck the rain !..."...lol...

  • New Order rules !...love them...since 1983...

  • The start was typical Manchester and lame..but once started it's fucking awesome.

  • Hooky, Steve and Barney rock!

  • Not the same as joy divisions version but still amazing! I love how new order found the way to make their own style wihout depending of JD legacy...both bands are great and JD and New Order versions of this songs are AWSOME!

  • really brilliant!!!

  • Brilliant!!!
