The thing to do is open an account in a local small bank or credit union and transfer your money over there and close the account in the big banks. Don't do it all at once in order to raise the big bank suspicion but do it incrementally. Write yourself a cheque from the big bank and deposit it into your new account in the credit union or small local bank.
