  • Jack russel = Tiny terror !!

  • Naw I really want one as a deffencive dog! Are they great pets I have had border collies and kelpies there great aswell!!

  • "I will kill you, big dog! Just as soon as my mouth gets a little bigger!"

  • gunnerdoestricks

  • Sooo cute, Australian cattle dogs are GREAT dogs!!!!

  • Thank you for your comment regarding the video . Blue is almost 11 now and showing some signs of aging but he is doing well. Loyal, Smart, intuitive, and always at my side. It is an amazing breed of dog and of cource i feel BLue is an amazing Australian Cattle dog .. Thanks again for your comments about yorus .. enjoy as long as youc an : )

  • thanks for sharing...we have a wonderful 7 y.o. cow dog named Bishop (adopted him when he was 2 y.o.) and had never even heard of the breed before...he's the best dog I ever had and just love him more than anything...we go hiking for hours and hours and he never gets tired or runs out of energy or enthusiasm!

  • acd's have the most ferocious jaws

  • For the grossly misinformed, this isn't "dog fighting." These two are playing with one another...my older dog (6 yrs.) and puppy (4 mo.) play like this all the time! The big guy is teaching the little one some social skills...

  • @gwie21

that is very true.......see how the cattle dog rolls over on his back exposing his belly......that is THE most submissive position a dog can take with another (be it dog or human)......there is no aggression there at all.

  • how cute! I love it when the puppy starts to "attack" the camera person!!

  • How adorable. This made my day.

  • big dog knows exactly how much force he can use without hurting little dog

  • Absolutely brilliant ! :¬D

  • dog fighting is illegal, how can you assholes do that?! The poor little white dog is obviously fighting for his life! SIKOS

  • @Knowwon249 jack russells or in youre cast the "little white dog" can be quite an agressive breed the jack russell is starting on the cattle dog. if the cattle dog was fighting he could kill the white dog easy + the cattle dog is laying down. just felt i had to point this out being a jack russell owner, i dont mean to be offensive.

  • i love jack russels and i ahte htem at the same time

i was babysitting a 5 month old jack russel

and we set up a baby gate and it got over it so wwe put another on top of it

turns out this little bugger was a hell of an escape artist (like most jack russels)

he got over it and it was like 6 feet high and i couldnt get over it lols

  • You can tell the older ACD knows not to play too rough with the pup. ;)

  • This is like my Australian Cattle Dog she was 4 years old when I got my 8 week old Border Collie, and she knew not to play to rough with him, now my Border Collie is 3 years old, and my Australian Cattle Dog is 7 year old!

  • so cute! I have a JR/ACD mix! only 5mos old, I'll see how he turns out..

  • We just got a ACD puppy and we have a older jack russell, its pretty much the same play except the other way around at the moment, even though they are about the same size even though the ACD is only 8 weeks.

  • @ReptileDave5 That must be so cute to watch!

  • at one point he grabs his whole head in his jaws and gently flips him onto his back - too funny!

  • Back in the nineties we had a old bluey that we only intended to shelter until a home could be found. She'd belonged to an old guy with an orchard but had been neglected by his kids when he died.

Her name was Esme (ez-may) and she was really unique. Of course, we couldn't stand to see her go so we adopted her ourselves. She was about 9 years old then.

She insisted on sleeping out with our 6 chickens at night - even in winter. She adored old people and lived to nearly 15. She's sadly missed

  • CUTE!!! :)

  • He is so patient with the pup. Such a good guy!

  • we have a 5 yr old aussie and a jr puppy...they play exactly the same!

  • Good vid.

  • I have an Australian Cattle Dog and a Jack Russell Terrier too, and they play almost in the same way!!

  • BLESS EM.

  • How sweet. :)

  • the austrailian cattle dog is sooo kind! What a wonderful dog. the ACD it has to be the most thoughtful dog of any breed! look at how the ACS is playing with that young Jack russle! :) ... I LOVEEE ACDs!!!!!

  • if a male and a female i would bet that they will get along very well. Two males may be a problem however.

  • this is what my grandparents blue heeler rover did with my jack russell there first time meeting..hes passed on now theyve got a new red heeler/collie and he was scared of my little puppy it was so cute once they got used to eachother they would try to bite each other and my dog never could because buster would spin and shuve his butt right in his face ahaha

  • How cute is that ?!!!

  • Enjoyed hearing about your JR and ACD .. is a good combination .. we sure love ours ..

  • aww the big dog bite the small dog

  • adorable! two of my favorite kinds of dogs :)

  • That was a great video.

I really love blue heelers they are so smart.

  • thats so cute the australlian cattle dog looks just like mine! nice vid

  • What a sweet and very nice ACD. I love how the jack russell pup at the end tries to get the camera.

  • damn.. that jack russell is persistant.

  • Does anyone notice how the ACD in this video still takes time out to check his territory ?

The ACD constantly watches and checks his domain...

and being an ACD, he is not just protecting himself, but also that of the terrier and the owner...

    ACD is the best !!

  • you´r right about that ihaveairlockers

  • It doesn'tbite...it just grabes big bits of the puppy gently

  • GO PUPPY!

  • Greay video, thanks. Heeler are the best dogs that I know.. but not for everyone.. you have to be able to spend lots of time with them.

    Thanks

  • jack russell terriers are crazy, i have two of them and they are a handful

  • Cattle dogs rule. Thanks for sharing...

  • so cute!!! lol

  • cutest EVAH!

  • Thankyou to the poster of this vid - it made me cry with memories of my bluey Claude who reached old age and went to heaven last year. He was just like this with every puppy, kitten or small animal he could find. He even mothered a baby chicken to maturit once.

There is no breed like them thats for sure....

  • your welcome spkenn36.. Blue has also raised chickens.. in fact i have a video of him watching over it ..

  • Australian Cattle Dogs are the best breed ever.

  • aw! your cattle dog clearly has a gorgeous temperament. well done! i have a 5yo cattle x kelpie girl and frankly, she can be a bit blinking rough with puppies ...

  • realy Cute!

when you like, take a look at my videos "in memorian to Gin" and "cattledog puppie video"

    Greeze and enjoy

  • The last time my Blue Heeler was "baby sitting" he ate the chiwuaua..lol...its natural, lol

  • i have 2 red heelers they are fun but they are protective if the 2 jack russles from above get into this guys hard they will be lunch

  • greyhound for life blad

  • Well this is a first to see. I have a Blue heeler and my neighbors have 2 Jack Russells and they absolutely hate my boy. They once got out of their house and they continually attacked my blue and they have gotten him thru the fence and would not release him, I got 7 stitches one time trying to get the one to let go of my baby. They are vicious little dogs.

  • they are vicious! It's bred into them and is a part of judging the breed at shows, however, some do get along with other dogs/cats but ussually only ones they slowly get introduced to

  • Well I am going to have to let my niece read this because they are thinking about getting one and possibly considering having a baby one day, I told them they are crazy. I wouldn't trust it around the baby. Thanks for your input!

  • they can be very jealous so if they are around and a new baby comes then not so good, however, if they baby is already part of the family and the dog is a puppy it would PROBABLY work out

  • Fantastic video!!!! It's nice to see them lovin' on each other.

  • he has a lot of paciente .cool vid

  • big big blue heeler mine is small mine is still a puppy tho about five months

  • aw such a great video!! great dogs u have there....

  • Thanks.. i sure love em .. : )

  • I love how patient he is with the puppy.

And that jumping for the camera at the end- too cute.

  • That Australian Cattle dog is a very nice breed. You don't see them very often though; Australian Shepherds seem to be more popular.

  • So? You also see more labs than ACDs haha!

Australian cattle dogs and australian shepards are not even close to the same breed...

  • Gotta love those Jacks. I have a 5 year old Broken Coat JRT. She is a complete Alpha, but not a bully. My 6 Month old Akita/Husky Mix is now 3 times her size, but totally looks up to her, and is VERY protective of her. The JRT scared off a Golden Retriever and Irish Setter who were being too rough with the 9 week old Akita/Husky. Ever since then, they are best buddies.

  • haha!! grandpa's having even more fun! best thing you ever did to the old guy! ;)

  • playing with granpa...

  • This reminds me of our puppy with our older lab before he died. She'd go out of her way to annoy him! He didn't react for ages though,he wasn't the most dominant dog! :)

  • Too cute, Love each other, don't they? Jacks think they are 10 feet tall!! Gotta love em.

  • Yes.. they are best of buddies and you are right ... A lot of love between them : )

  • just eat the little dog already

  • love those cattle dogs

  • HAHA, what a tenacious little dude! Cant win against the bigger dog, so goes for the camera. Just like a JRT :). Gorgeous.

  • oh these two are goof nuts. :)

  • This dog looks exactly like one I used to own but alas she had to be put to sleep.

I still cry, even after two years. Lovely to see this vid though.

  • My Jack has gone head to head with a German Shepard. They lunged at each other and my Jack cut in for the throat. Shepards owner yanked his dog away at the last second. Cute vid ^^

  • Aw, the sweet Australian Cattle Dog has a great smile; so playful and gentle with that adorable puppy!

  • sooo cute

  • wow...jack is bravedog :) i love JRT :) 0:22 time sooo funny moment

  • haha....jack russels really arn't aware of their size...they would go head to head with a german shepard....check out the video of my jack russel

  • i have 2 of those australian shepards. their sooo protective.

  • ha ha! I love Australian cattle dogs!

  • 00:22 very funny :)

  • haha thats awesome i have 3 jacks they're great...nice vid love the end :p

  • That older dog is very gentle with the little Jack Russell.

  • my jack russle is a nepe dog bits a lot i have to jump on a chir becuse he bites my feet

  • haha the jack russells hole head could fit in the dogs mouth lol

  • haha my jack russell would be just like that

  • Also, does anyone know if a dangerous dog decree can be appealed? When my dog was seven months old, she chased a girl on a bike and nipped her on the shoe. The dog catcher said that she is a dangerous dog and I must comply with very specific rules that are tedious and somewhat ridiculous. I would not keep a truly dangerous dog. This dog is friendly and very sweet with anyone.

  • "Also, does anyone know if a dangerous dog decree can be appealed? When my dog was seven months old, she chased a girl on a bike and nipped her on the shoe. The dog catcher said that she is a dangerous dog and I must comply with very specific rules that are tedious and somewhat ridiculous...."

ACD's have a herding instinct that's all. Ignorance is "dangerous" & so's living in a socialist state, may I suggest moving to a better locale? The dog catcher should not be an authority figure.

    Sgt Rock

  • Good video. Two nice dogs. I have a blue heeler Australian Shepherd mix. She is going on three years old. Same body type of the one in this video. People always say that she is fat. She is fixed and she does not eat a great deal. No scraps or treats.

  • I am getting a jack russell.

    Cool video by the way.

  • This is just too precious! That cattle dog has the patience of a saint. Makes me smile:)

  • very cute dogs

  • Fell off my seat laughing......Look at my wee Jess

  • Nice to see another Depew is in to video. Great job!!

  • that is the cutest thing i've ever seen, haha.

  • aww... so cuuute! i love the end where he gets the camera cord.

  • ya bu jackler cok piç:)

  • Aww, that Puppy Jack is Sooooo Cute

  • Aww that Puppy is soooo cute

  • heelers are so great. mine died naturally in his sleep after a day of his usual two walks, lying beside me, at the age of 20.

These dogs need responsibility, room to run, time to run every day, and a very close bond with a human.

Mine spent his first nine with livestock. When he came to me, for two weeks, ha, Vancouver had too many cars and no goats. I moved, got 4 hens, and he thrived.

  • I am so sorry to hear about the death of your Cattle dog but it sounds like you and he had many good years together. Blue and i are very close and i know i will have to face that day too sometime . Thanks for your comment ..

  • haha it had it's entire head in its mouth :O!

  • Neato! Our ACD does this with cats. :)

  • i have 10 month cattle dog

  • Aren't Cattle Dogs great?

  • Lol i love the end bit where the jack jumps at the camera and gets the cord in its mouth :D

  • silly bunginggg that dog is a pup and pups are adventurous little things. Very cute. i love australian cattle dogs

  • Cattle dogs are the best!

  • is that dog brave or stupid

  • Adorable!!!

  • hey... did you declaw and dock (cut a bit of) the tail?

  • nope... cattle dog is untouched.. and Jack russell puppy had her tail docked before we got her.

  • hi there that older dog is a gem how patient he/she is. thank you for sharing that with me

  • Thank you .. So do we : )
