The Sequel sounds like it's gonna be better though, with Soundwave an his Minion's, the Constructicon's and allusion's to Unicorn. Plus a better paced story with more focus on the Transformer's and less on the Humans.

Well, I suppose it's much to do with personal tastes. I found the 86 moive horrible as it signaled the end of the *ORIGINAL* transformers on which I grew up. Seeing not only Optimus but seriously ALL original autobots save Bumblebee, Jazz and Cliff Jumper just get butchered's been too much for me to accept.
No kidding, I thought the 2007 movie was handled very appropriately for a live action movie, at least it didn't have a random dance scene and christian rock music for battle scenes, but I geuss it's a kids movie, but seriously I don't see what's the big deal with some of the fans.
The only corse of action in regards to Megatron getting a place in the next movie is to turn him into galvatron because of the allspark coursing through Megatron's body. there is no choice because of how Bay did the movie
I doubt there will be a Galvatron, as in order for that to happen you would need the presence of Unicron. And I highly doubt Unicron will turn up in any of the movies because of the non-transformer-fan audience. Fans would like it, but non-fans would consider it ridiculous.
Besides, Galvatron was only introduced so that hasbro could produce a new mould, in the movie, Mes could just find a new earth form after coming back to the surface.

that will never happen. It was stated in the 1st movie that there will be no ark etc. as the transformers have the abilty to change into space-craft(asteroids/protoforms). And as I stated above to Syranus66's comment, I do not think there will be a Galvatron or Unicron.
However, a combiner is possible, as the writers stated they would like to see one.
I honestly think Megz will turn into Galvatron. Starscream left, so Primus only knows what will follow him back. And the Allspark really isn't gone. That small piece is enough to bring it back. That thing had to be a four or fifth dimentional entity of some sort. It really seemed to have a life and mind of its own.

Prime is a wuss in this movie. The 1986 movie Prime pwned a platoon of Decepticons all by himself and took on Megatron without any doubts unlike this one "If I cannot defeat Megatron" crap. 86 Prime is a battle hardy configuration meant to go toe-to-toe with Megatron hence the standoff....

Yeah, I used to think that way too, but Megatron really was not in the TF movie at all. He was in a few battle sequences and then was dead. He's the leader of the Decepticons and a superior military strategist yet he has a whole 5 lines (exaggeration).
Having a different, nigh unbeatable opponent in the second one would redeem Megatron greatly when he comes back, Allspark Powered, in the third and pulps them in one hit.

that will never happen. It was stated in the 1st movie that there will be no ark etc. as the transformers have the abilty to change into space-craft(asteroids/protoforms). And as I stated above to Syranus66's comment, I do not think there will be a Galvatron or Unicron.
However, a combiner is possible, as the writers stated they would like to see one.

I honestly think Megz will turn into Galvatron. Starscream left, so Primus only knows what will follow him back. And the Allspark really isn't gone. That small piece is enough to bring it back. That thing had to be a four or fifth dimentional entity of some sort. It really seemed to have a life and mind of its own.

Ok I think I have it, TF2 unicron introduced, Starscream regroups with more troops soundwave, shockwave ravage laserbeak a combiner team etc attacks earth and so forth.
Optimuses message is received by autobots, giant space ship (ark maybe) lands cool autobots introduced hot rod magnus hound cliffjumper wheeljack dinobots etc ark is used as temp base. epic battles continue. Decepticons defeated starscream retreats with team etc movie over

Prime is a wuss in this movie. The 1986 movie Prime pwned a platoon of Decepticons all by himself and took on Megatron without any doubts unlike this one "If I cannot defeat Megatron" crap. 86 Prime is a battle hardy configuration meant to go toe-to-toe with Megatron hence the standoff....

I agree. I LOVED this film, and was very surprised by how great it was.
My ONLY beef with it is that Megatron and Prime are typically at the same level of power (even Megatron and Primal in Beast Wars) and Prime just gets slapped around every time he fights Megs in this movie...
I wanted more than anything for Optimus to just tear the shit out of Megatron for at least PART of the fight.

Scorponok is dead. Starscream was the only survivor. And i seriouly doubt that he would be in a hurry to bring Megatron back. Not when he wants to be leader himself.

Actually Barricade survived too because you see him in the car chase but he is cut off. He does not die from Bumblebee because he rsponds when Starscream rallies the decepticons

ok Bay. If it is you, which i seriously doubt. Having Galvatron in the 2nd movie is too soon. If Megatron is gonna be killed off after one fight then you know nothing about him. And have no business doing a TF movie. What the movie needs is Megs to come back in an earth form. Like a modifed anti-aircraft gun. Then he could have his trademark fusion cannon. Besides, the movies are based on G1 are they not? Galvatron is G3.

Ok, lets see if I can explain this so you'll understand. Galvatron was one of the 'NEW' transformers in the 86' movie. He should not be in the next film because he's not one of the 'original' transformers.

This video is awesome. It really takes me back.
I hope Megs is back in TF2. Also, I hope for more indepth coverage of the Transformers. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing Megan Fox run around as much as the next guy, but this is a Transformers movie. I also hope to see more conflict/dialogue with Starscream and Megatron.

Yeah, I used to think that way too, but Megatron really was not in the TF movie at all. He was in a few battle sequences and then was dead. He's the leader of the Decepticons and a superior military strategist yet he has a whole 5 lines (exaggeration).

yup, and I hope Transformers focuses more on the robots than the humans, and this time there a lot more, like Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Rumble, Shockwave, Wheeljack, Trailbreaker, Windcharger, Cliffjumper, Huffer, Hound, Gears, Thrust, Ramjet, Dirge, Constructicons, Insecticons, Blitzwing, Red Alert, Grapple, Inferno, Cosmos, Skids, Smokescreen, Stunticons, Combaticons, etc.
