  • do Hydroponic Gardening

  • I began to growing basil thanks to you !!!

  • It's really sweet how you're not hiding how you feel, and I'm sure Phil's feeling the same. Just try to look forward and think how lovely it'll be when he's back!

On the grow your own subject, I bought one of those living salads from the supermarket recently - it was much nicer than cut lettuce, so I suppose that's a start! It didn't cost much more, either.

  • @Angecm mmm, yeah, I love those living lettuces! good pick :)

  • if you are looking to kill time.. play yoville on fb lol I get on there and a few hours fly by! =P

  • @MatthewLeelev haha... k, I'll check that out, thanks :)

  • Can't wait to see you skate.

  • I'm not a gardener either, but I managed to grow cherry tomatoes, lemon basil, spicy variegated oregano, chocolate mint, chives, garlic chives and some catnip for my kitty all in pots on my small deck :]

I learned a lot, and am planning to add at least lettuce, pineapple sage, and maybe carrots next year, yum!

  • @xsugarkittyx that's awesome, congrats!!! isn't is so nice to have fresh herbs growing?? Phil tells me that catnip makes an excellent insect repellant, too :)

  • Good luck in your skating!! sounds wonderful!

  • Do you have a windowsill that gets about four hours of sun a day? Because if you do, YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPACE! :-)

I encourage you to try it :-)

Basil is the easiest to start with. Indoor gardening is great because you can grow things that are normally suited to a warmer climate.

  • i would watch growing outdoors these days cause of the chemtrail program going on contaminating the soil with aluminum, so monsanto seeds can sell there gmo aluminum resistant seeds, i love growing my own food but these days im more leaning to the hydroponics angle.

  • Is that london uk? Keep smiling xxx

  • @dianeovenden no, london, ontario - canada :)

  • @healthyvegan you live near justin bieber!

  • I live in a condominium in South Florida. I am not allowed to plant in the ground & there is limited area to plant in containers. Years ago I had lovely, self sufficient (1 maybe two person), container garden peppers, tomatoes, herbs, but it was a big chore to haul water from the hose area to the containers.

In October, my S. FL city is opening an organic community garden and I am SO STOKED!!!! I reserved a 4x8 :)

  • @makeupklutz that's awesome, good for you!! I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun with it :)

  • wow I always was thinking you looked just like a skater or some kind of female athlete......good luck and I hope you do make a vid of you skating!!

  • @BassAssasin13 thanks :) I chickened out the other night, but I'll try again next practice

  • @healthyvegan alright sounds good, I really like how you have been answering a ton of my comments!!! As a channel that is way different than yours I try to do the same. I don't think most directors realize how much a reply to their comment makes the viewer like the channel even more!

  • Ooh, don't feel lonely ;) And I agree, having fresh food in the garden is amazing. My parents have a garden too and I really enjoy it when I'm at their place to go out into the garden and steal some veggies ;) Last Year my roommate grew tomatoes and cucumbers on the balkony, that was great too. Now he's moved out and I really don't have gardening skills. At all. It's sad.

  • @acekyken aw, like me... start with sprouts :)

  • you look like a figure skater haha

  • Herbs like chives, parsley and basil don't require a lot of space!

  • Good luck in your competition!

  • @KasCooks thanks :)

  • Good video, got me thinking about starting a garden, after this historic drought we are having, of course
