The first time I heard this piece of musical bliss I was short of breath and trembling with the beauty. Something about this instrumental genius is so very familiar... I haven't a drop of Irish in me - but it's where my heart tugs. Even the way people there speak is... music. Simple, subtle, amazing music. Melancholy joy.
Nothing crappy about that, you caught the flutter very well!
@synthpathetic It's beautiful to play! In fact it's the complete opposite to your alba. At first i had to get used to how soft you have to blow for the lower notes! It takes barely any air atall :) I definitely recommend it.
Love the low D and the Jagstang hanging on your wall. I had that same guitar once. The low D tin whistle has a fantastic tone and you played it well with MIDI. 5 stars!
This version is just awsome. You must have put a lot of work into this one. What program have you used for the backing? Nice patches, especially the bass. The bass is extremely important as it kind of defines the "movement" of the butterfly, if you know what I mean. Looking forward to you next videos.
Hi, I use Acoustica Mixcraft to record all of my music. I think all of the instruments are Acousticas own too.
Yeh, I found it a little empty before i added the bass. I'd like to add a bodhran to some tunes too, either by buying one (& learning it!) or doing it electronically. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated :)
