I remember shooting this video down on Belle Isle. That's Rico peering in close at ya'll...He was homeless, but was too proud to admit it. That summer, I met him down on the island quite often. He'd be collecting bottles & I'd run him to the store to cash them in and buy us a 6-pack to go with the sandwiches & doobie snacks I always brought. The couple knew I was filming them dance & didn't care. They didn't even miss a beat when the Detroit Princess was trolling by after that slow turn-around.
