Isn't cannabis legal now?

In 2002 we seen the report the government put out on cannabis. It stated that not now or ever have the canadian government given one single reason for cannabis prohibition. It reccommended that anybody charged with a cannabis crime should be pardoned because the law was made the same way slavery and the holocost was started. Somebodys opinion not facts or evidence.

Exactly how can they lock people in cages based on their opinion without giving any reason or evidence?

It's easier to make political figures look stupid by trying to defend a law that everybody knows they cannot.
