This is the original version which was on the b side to Temptation, I prefer this to the album version, unfortunatley this is not issued on any reissued cd's.

This is not *quite* the original, or at least the radio version. There's definitely a difference in the music between the end of the first chorus and the beginning of the next verse (and two instances later on) where the original music is replaced by a keyboard riff. (You can see this in the "Solid Gold" video clip, where you can see the keyboardist "play" it .) Bummer is, the "replaced" part was really an integral part of the tune. Too bad it got changed here. I wonder why, and when?  :-(

That was part of the fun of the 80's the videos didn't always make sense but they were always entertaining. It was like they were competing who could make the weirdest-unrelated-to-the-song video.
