gives it more power but thats about it the rms is stepped up a couple watts but i would just do new speakers from a local audio shop before you did the deck

no you can not stream it through bluetooth but it is ran through the usb cable and it can be hidden well

This module called the imprint module processor is a 128 bands of eq or something high like that. I bought it and ended up selling it because it turned my gains down and adjusted everything automatically

We all know it has Imprint capabilities - don't need to tell us.

What we cannot see from Alpines site is how well the unit navigates. Show us a few minutes of how you navigate the library/functions.

DEFEAT is NOT a sound enhancement function.

DEFEAT disables any EQ settings, so that you can determine if a clipping sound/problem is caused by the input source, or whether your EQ settings are causing it (without having to set all your EQ to flat).

It is essentially an EQ disable function (i.e. Defeat) so that you can troubleshoot any problems without going through your EQ settings (say you have 11 bands) and then setting them all to flat.... just to find out your EQ was not the problem.

hey guys1 i bought this deck from the US, but i live in Australia! I can only watch dvd's only by doing a sequence code from the brake and handbrake and i cant wtach it while im driving either, how can i get around this? Please help?

Disconnect the connection from your headunit to your handbrake and connect this wire from your headunit to your Earth. Dont buy these stupid modules that mimic a parked car, they work but this is simple and free. If you are using this feature to watch music DVDs while driving, I recommend you press the visual button and turn off the display.

Dude, you have to do the parking break sequence to unlock all the other adjustments such as the time and all the other stuff. They just don't want you messing with it while your driving. The tr-7 is worth it. They're pretty cheap on eBay

yep it does talk to you, but i live in hawaii and sometimes the gps strains its self to pronounce some of the streets here.

Honestly the USB and the full speed are around the same. The full speed is slightly faster but you are unable to watch videos using the full speed. So i usually prefer the USB method so i can watch my music videos.

Also that module is called a TR7, so you can watch videos while you drive.

did you install the alpine yourself? if so then is it pretty easy to install? don't you basically unplug everything from your old deck and plug it into the new deck? now the complicated part maybe is taking out my dash to get the the deck. i have a TL 00

Yea it is pretty simple but its alot more complicated then any other deck ive installed. Just gota crimp the matching speaker wires. They got so many wires back there, RCA's for the sub, rear speakers, front speakers, video output, rear view camera, its nuts but im sure you could do it. If this is your first time installing a deck you might need help.

Yea i did install it myself, make sure you buy the TR7 too.

a TR7 tricks the deck to thinking that your car is always in park, this way you can play videos while your driving.

LOL i had no idea i had to buy a double din adapter well i learned. i have the ipod adapter that goes into the alpine. i'm wondering do i need to buy any other wires for the ipod feature to work? there is this yellow input that says ipod in the back. no wire for that though. i have the 16 pin connector that goes into the ipod. how do i get the ipod wire to the outside so i can connect my ipod

you have more options than just for audio, make sure that whoever installed the system for you, connected a cable going from the deck to your hand break (e-break), in your manual it will tell you how to get to more options, just read the whole manual and you will find it.
