This thing was great. I remember having one with 2 formulas racing next to eachother and we built some really huge tracks with my brothers that went over shelves and sofas and stuff. It was awesome :)
Is there a way I can get the plans on how you built that track? I have been interested in building a slot car track for some time. I have a four lane HO scale track, but I would love to build a larger scale track. 4 to 6 lanes wide.
I love the track. I have a 4 lane 1/64th scale layout in my basement. I am currently racing with a few friends. We are thinking of expanding the lay out and possibly taking it to one of the malls in town and seeing if we can get some public contests going.
I have My Track built and routed, can someone please tell me how to wire it and what kind of power supply i need, i have a 12V 10A supply i built from an old computer that i use for my RC Charger will that work?
Hee Guys.. great racing spirit and frindly atmosfere!! .. and yes I have a question too.. I noticed that you all stop when someone's off.. is the power cut off automaticily?? if so.. can you briefly hint me how it works.. thanx and enjoy
Hi, there i used to race on a track here in the UK almost the same as the video, back in 67 (19 that is)brought back great memories we started off with inline motors and plastic bodys very slow!!! and ended up with angle winders, slop chassis full fulcroms, floppy body mounts, foam tyres and best of all STP engine addative (full size that is) which would make the cars stick to the track like super glue.thats for the memorie bernie
That's the dream man, a good-sized layout in your own home.
I lost the only track in a 100 mile radius (which I was fortunate enough to have in my hometown for nearly a year) at the end of the summer, and now I have withdrawals.
I'm thinking about putting up a 1/64 track in an unused corner of my apartment, but I miss racing the larger scales.
What did you use for the contact on the track for the cars? I've made 1/64 scale tracks and would like to make a 1/32 scale now. Track looks really good.
Funny how a mans obsession with cars never change...
