i was in sri lanka last year, and it was way too amazing compared to india. if you are ever planning to go, i suggest Sri Lanka and Maledives, really friendly people, hospitality, nice food and nice chicks. also the night life is really good too, not just in night clubs but it is fun to hang around outside during night but for night clubs just make sure you have your id when you're going in though lol

Yo! Tony Wheeler. Colombo is NOT the capital of Sri Lanka. It is the commercial capital. Sri Jayawardenapura IS the capital of Sri Lanka. Get your facts right.

And Galle Face Hotel is more than 100 years old. Just because the roof is leaking does not mean that you have the right to say shitty things about anything about the hotel and about the country and its people. We will live the way we want. You need not tell us who live how and fights who.

Country is flourishing after the end of the war. Economy is booming even when the world economies are sliding into recession. Country is back on track and hope it will develop in a rapid rate from now on.

Sri Lanka will soon gain it's place in the region. Sri Lanka has all the healthy conditions to develop to a way better economy . People are well educated, has enough natural resources and specially the country is situated in a very important position in East West shipping route.

2.20 Galle face walk. u can see on ur right hand side a small monument on 2.20. it's still protected until now. this monument is made for Sir Henry Ward the person who made the galle face walk. started 1856 and completed on 1859.
