Jack White is the superior guitarist. Auerbach has a better voice most of the time. Both Meg and Patrick are incredible drummers and they both have insane looks as the drum.

Can someone be kind enough to tell me which album is the best to get for a newbie fan like moi? I went to see a few cover bands and the sound guy was playing their self-titled album between sets. @DestroyerofSouls666 They don't have a self-titled album. As far as what album to get, there really isn't any bad one to get...they all kick ass. There are different sounds to each though. The heaviest blues-based albums would be "The Big Come Up", "Thickfreakness", and "Rubber Factory". "Rubber Factory" is generally the most recommended album by people I've found, so I guess that's a good one to go with. Their newest, "Brothers", is a good album, but more R&B influenced.

Why this band rocks: Both of the guys are very from another time. They remind me of Led Zeppelin. A crappy drummer has no where to hide here. A weak guitar player either. These guys are very good and have charisma and sex appeal. The drummer is no doubt fed on Bonham. They ooze heavy rock and blues. I guarantee they love good ole' Robert Johnson with just him and a guitar. These boys have paid attention to their elders and are delivering  undiluted serving of rock and roll. BRAVO!!
