I am so happy I never had to go through everything most of you guys had to, my dad never missed out on my special events and i love him as much as anything in the world and my only dream is that I will be as great a dad as he is.
When I was little, I told my dad I wanted to grow up to be just like him...I was puzzled by the look on his face, as if he was not happy about that prospect. I understand why now. He had separated himself emotionally from his children after my mother left him and I had not realized it until much later in my life. As a soldier, I spend a great deal of time away from my family and have missed out on major events in my childrens lives and it kills me to hear my 3 year old wish for me to come home.

I love this song. I have always made the effort to spend time with my dad. He doesn't want anything to do with me and recently he ad my mother have cut all their kids out of their lives, after all we have done for them. All I can do now is make sure I spend allot of time with my own son and make sure things don't go that way between me and him.
i still consider myself young, i try to spread songs like these to my friends who listen to "snoop dogg" but not a whole lot of younger people seem to enjoy these kinds of songs anymore. ill keep em alive as long as i am. and thanks for posting this too

I love this song. I have always made the effort to spend time with my dad. He doesn't want anything to do with me and recently he ad my mother have cut all their kids out of their lives, after all we have done for them. All I can do now is make sure I spend allot of time with my own son and make sure things don't go that way between me and him.

i still consider myself young, i try to spread songs like these to my friends who listen to "snoop dogg" but not a whole lot of younger people seem to enjoy these kinds of songs anymore. ill keep em alive as long as i am. and thanks for posting this too
