@5jerry1 it's not about self hatred, there's no better feeling and once you've done it once you keep trying to find that same feeling, but you never get it back. it's a mistake to try it because you start needing it, but for a lot of people it has nothing to do with self hatred, it's just a bad decision.

A song about a subject doesn't make it glorified. It can certainly show a bad side to the subject, such as this song. And there are so many other ways to interpret it. I think it refers to society in general, not just a feeling from a drug.

It's derisive sarcasm saying what are you some kind of superstar complex junkie? That's as nullifying as drugs. It's the essence of Punk, the delirium of realism, of the under class. Only tried H twice, but went through hell with oxys methadone diluadid. Getting sick, mood swings when I wasn't high. Staying awake for 3 days and walkin around like a zombie. I'm not gonna lie I was in LOVE with it all at the time. I'm clean now for 2 years and never been happier. This song make so mush sense to me. I feel a slight high listening to it.

Only tried H twice, but went through hell with oxys methadone diluadid. Getting sick, mood swings when I wasn't high. Staying awake for 3 days and walkin around like a zombie. I'm not gonna lie I was in LOVE with it all at the time. I'm clean now for 2 years and never been happier. This song make so mush sense to me. I feel a slight high listening to it.

@neverbeen2graceland Like me sir, you've been'or been very close to a heroin addict, but like me do you remember the days before you had crossed that line... would any advice from either addict or non addict, no matter how they told you it would lead to nothing but the ruination of many years of your and your loved ones lives. would those words have made the slightest bit of difference...I doubt it cos like me it's in your nature. that said , as songs go, this is one of the best!!!!

I only quit cause i didn't want to die and i was right there... i don't regret it.. but i hope no one else ever knows how torn one can be about something.. You can't just walk away, you're body becomes so ill and week without it, You're constanly puking, shitting, sweating, n the most wretched feeling of your legs wanting to just get up and run on their own, i didn't try it till i was abt 29 i was doing oxis and other opiates, and to the body it doesn't know the difference as far the addiction goes, but i gotta say after sniffing about 80 mg of oc at a time and just wasn't enough, i had this 20 bag that just about had me sucking my own xxxx

this song perfectly describes the rush of dope, especially with the lyric "it's my life, and its my wife" This drug brings about the feeling of complete peace and utopia, it's the closest you'll get to god without dying, and that's really how it is and contributes to how addictive. Just think about it at first a 20-25 bag gives you a party with jesus, pretty hard to turn down when you find what you've been missing you're life...But when you realize it's false and you're life falls apart

@laxlaxlacrosse yeah ive done alot of other opiates but not herion i think the only thing different between herion and opiate painkillers is that stuff like heron and morphine and codeine are more harder on your system then drugs like oxycodone and hydrocodne. thanks for answering my question.
