No one will remember this game, and they should. Iverson was a great and illusive PG, I still put Isiah over Iverson at PG position as Isiah was more of a floor general and leader. Iverson was more of a scorer but took a TON of shots. In games like this they went in. His career FG % is pretty low, but you can't deny Iverson's will to win, desire, amazing talent, crossover and one of the great athlete's for his size ever. Too bad he went bankrupt and had to play overseas for peanuts.

he was a scorer and a winner.just considering the fact that no other player outside of shaq in this period was more guarded than this guy,he was just unstopable.the fact that he basically had nobody in his career to help him explains partially his fg%..it's not easy when you have the whole defense against you.

but he is maybe the most prolific scorer that this league has seen outside of m.j.

even if ESPN doesn't say that all the time.

@lionelangemario True, Kobe had Shaq, Jordan had pippen/rodman isiah had dumars and rodman, magic had kareem, bird had parish, iverson only had like snow and iguodala. I have never seen anyone work harder to get shots off than Iverson, he would run forever to get to the spot on the floor and then had to shoot high arcing shots cause of his size. I still think Kobe is a better pure scorer than Iverson, Kobe to me is a better scorer/jump shooter than Jordan, while not as good as Jordan overall.

also jordan was also working like crazy to score before pip developed.

as far as the comparison kobe/iverson.

the only way for me to compare is to check their performances in the most difficult situations..playoffs.

and iverson against the harsh defenses,the pressure had more big games.kobe scored only once 50 points in playoffs against the suns defense.

@lionelangemario While I was a diehard Iverson fan for years, he didn't make teammates better the same way Bird Magic Jordan or Isaiah did, even with bad players around him. Those players also carried their teams, Iverson while gifted and a great scorer, jacked up shots and wasn't a team player. Great scorer but I still don't put Iverson in the top 10 all time. I put Mike, Kobe, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Baylor, Wilt, Russell, Isaiah, Stockton all before him at least. No titles and 1 MVP is not great

take kobe,he had the kind of supporting cast that A.I. had only for 3 years.the first year,he didn't make the playoffs,the 2 others, he got beat in the first round.

Iverson might be able to rack up points at a higher rate than Iverson but Nash's efficency, playmaking abilty and shooting makes him better imo. @lionelangemario Nash is arguablly the most efficent player in nba history. Most 50/40/90 season's by far with the second most being Larry Bird. Nash has 13 seasons shooting at least 40% from 3, 6 season shooting at least 50% from the filed and is second all time in free throw %. Compare that to Iverson's efficency and then compare that to their playmaking abilty and there's your answer

You're talking about Stats being swollen on the suns but you fail to aknowladge that Nash was already averging 15/9 on Dallas before he got traded. His efficency that season was 50% and 43% from three so it's not like he suddenly became more efficenct. And it's not like he suddenly took more shots. In fact the 2 seasons he took the most shots were both on Dallas. ....

nash is rated the way he is not because he is the most efficient pg but because he has 2 (very questionnable) mvp titles.
