Um, I can't consider this a boss attack for two reasons:

1. You used Debug Mode

2. You used Hyper Knuckles, and considering you have Debug Mode to give you those rings, you can say you're using an invincibility cheat.

Also, he wasn't Eggman until Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic and friends called him Eggman in Sonic Adventure, but he called himself Dr. Robotnik, whereas he called himself Dr. Eggman in Sonic Adventure 2.

Okay, first off, he hyper knuckles wasn't in Sonic 2. It is SUPER Knuckles. Second off, he is just showing the bosses for fun. It is NOT supposed to be a boss run... like... with no rings or something. And lastly, he is still Dr. Robotnik in Sonic Adventure 2. The reason he calls himself "Eggman" is because that is his Japanese name.

Frankly, Sonic 2 was NOT part of the Sonic series, as in, this never happened. That IS Hyper Knuckles. He may not be using Super Emeralds, but it's an extra, it's not suppose to make sense. A boss attack, also usually means NOT cheating. I guess there's no rule about it, and it can be cheating, but really a boss attack should be, like, a challenge. I wouldn't have a single problem with it if he mentioned that, it's just something that you should mention. It's still Robotnik even though its not?

Yes. I don't know what you mean by Sonic 2 was not real, but it isn't hyper knuckles because it doesn't show knuckles' past frames. (if you know what I mean). I know what you mean about the NOT cheating thing, so I AM half on your side.

I think I know what you mean about Eggman still being Robotnik. In SA2, Eggman's grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, had a professor name of Dr. Robotnik, so I guess Eggman is just a nickname of his and he still has the name "Dr. Ivo Robotnik", am I correct?

Technically Mobius was a misunderstanding, that comes from the mathematical term Mobius Strip those spiral strops you run on in emerald hill zone, sonic always took place on an alternate earth according to the Japanese manuals, and mobius didn't exist till AoStH, and SATam it became a the place where those take place, but is nothing related to the games

I realize that SoA was responsible for a lot of the mythos, but it was SatAM's story that got me so into Sonic as a kid despite the fact that I never owned one of the games.

And the US Sonic CD manual does refer to the planet at Mobius.

The Japanese come up with some good characters and action, but continuity or cohesiveness has never really been their forte. Just look at how many spinoff shows they make each year.
