You are NOT gonna see the ECW Championship on a Main Event Card on any Main WWE PPV like say Summerslam or Wrestlemania. Its gonna be on the card but in the middle like i said its a MID - CARD BELT like the InterContinental and the United States Titles are. When was the last time u saw the US or IC titles in a main event on a WWE PPV; NEVER and u probably never will see them in a main event in a PPV.

Your right man, the ECW title is no longer a World title in the WWE's eyes. However i do feel that it is a slight step above the rest of the Mid Card titles. Only because the person holding the title gets to be the center of a brand, even though its the C brand, that wrestler is getting a chance to test the waters and see how the audience responds to that person being the center of attention. CM punk has already been a world champ and i feel Morrison will be one day two.

Honestly, I would have liked if, when he returned to WWE, he used this real song, slightly remixed.

I think more of the audience (considering most them have only been watching since 2007 & onwards, damn kids!) would have recognised a similar sound to his TNA theme, rather than a cover of Waterproof Blonde's song.
