There are TWO zodiac systems - the tropical zodiac (which most everyone follows) and the sidereal zodiac (which is what everybody is freaking out about). We don't even follow the one you are referring to. It doesn't matter. Everyone has the same sign that they always have had, and everyone in the future will still follow the system we have always followed. There are NO changes unless you follow the sidereal zodiac for some reason.
I was a capricorn, but I think i read that I am supposedly a sagittarius now. Who knows? Was the fact that I took "Beginning Archery" in college a foreshadowing of me becoming "the archer"? Perhaps.
Either way, I'm going to read both horoscopes and pick which one I like better for that day.
apparently there has always been at least 13 signs but someone somewhere in an editing suite far far away decided it was nicer with 12 hence this "new one".
they had 26 I think, but someone was like "woah!! thats too many, we can't be that accurate!!! lets cut some out!!"
plus the worlds axis moving very slightly each year has caused this slight change.
anyways thats enough useless information on something that is completely irrelevant in my life...
I feel like you can't change zodiac signs--like we have to be grandfathered out of this? I mean, it's supposed to be based on the stars/planets on the day you were born... and that doesn't change (I'm pretty sure) given that it's a set point in time.
1. i think it's kind of silly that they did change all of the horoscopes and say, oh well it only applies to people born after a certain date. (very silly in my POV)
2. yes i do read my horoscope daily. and no offence to Aquarius's but i like bein' a Pisces ~ :D
I heard that we don't get to be granfathered in :/ So I went from Gemini to stinkin' Tarus :( but I've decided that it sucks and that I'm totally just going to ignore this update like every other one fb or my computer tries to force on me.
