is this really helpful? i'm almost 200lbs and i really need an effective way.

it is.
30 minutes of cardio a day is enough if you don't eat too much.
just need to keep your heart rate up the whole time. don't go too hard, if you can't talk normally while working out slow down.
i did it with cardio
