nothing special. i just used a preset from an earlier photoshop-version ;-)

then go to filter => distort => polar coordinates => rectangular to polar :)

There is nothing wrong in using Andrew Kramers stuff in vfx or motion graphics. But today it´s not good to use it in a showreel (just like any premade material). Everyone has seen it and get´s a negative feeling about the showreel, people wonder if you can do something yourself.

People going ohhh it's andrew kramer are dumb. He used Andrew Kramers Products twitch and Riot Gear , Really , So every element you use from a package like digital juice or motionworks, must be copying. You buy them for a reason to use in your designs because they help. There's like one Andrew Kramer tut in there , and then don't forget the video is like 3 mins which should be cut down. Was Completely fine. And don't reply with a comment on my spelling because i said people complaining r dumb.

All you "motiongraphers" it is time to create new things or your own stuff...there is too much motion graphics videos that looks the same just because are made following all the Andrew Kramer (respect to Kramer) tutorials...that is good to learn...but not to copy...MAKE YOUR OWN STUFF....and your reel will look better...at least original.

This person is using premade graphics from video copilot. net. Some are original, but all the effects are from them. Which you can buy individual packages or the whole thing. It doesn't take as long as you might think with a proper storyboard. Just go check it out and you can basically make the same thing.... it's really not that difficult to do, if you have a bit of time.

the smoke is nothing but real smoke. I just modified the footage a bit - I colored it soft blue und added some darker areas around the edges.

IN AE: to get a nice smoke-effect in AE use the "Fractal Noise" effect. Add it to a solid, animate the evolution by setting two keyframes. Play around with the settings, especially the contrast and brightness. Then add "Fast Blur" to blur it out. Colorise it with "Hue/Saturation".

Sehr gute Verwendung der Action Essentials, Evolution, Riot Gear und Twitch! Wirklich schön mal jemanden zu sehen der auch was damit anfangen kann, ohne den Videocopilot-Tutorials 1:1 zu folgen, vor allem beim TitleDesign. 2 Fragen hätte ich aber :)

-Das Mündungsfeuer bei 0:34, ist das mit Partikeleffekten gemacht??

-Und beim Clip davor, bei dem blauen Schild, hast du da ein Matchmoving programm verwendet oder den Standard Tracker von AE?
