And why do you say that. How many stock Jap cars do you see pulling mid 12's in the quarter mile????? If you look at the rings website(the hardest road track known to car manufacturers) The Dodge Viper ACR is the king of the ring dude, beating out the best of the best. Including the Enzo Ferrari The Buggati Vyron, the Nissan GTR theLambo Reventon and the LP640, and every fast car that you can think of. The New Corvette ZR-1 has the #4 fast time I believe while still using leaf spring suspension.

How is it poor engineering when you have as heavy of a sports car go around a race track much faster then a Nissan GTR?????? Poor enginerring would be, I.E having a car with 1000BHP and having the car's chassis only being able to handle 500BHP so the twisting of the frame takes out the rear window. Thats poor engineering. So please elaborate on poor engineering cause I sure as hell dont see it. And as for reliability, Dodge's arent all that bad neither is any other american made vehicle.

not really. They were lower on quality but not nessarily reliability. Of course they had their trouble spots, probably more so then foreign competition but so does the imports. the viper is as reliable as it gets. An engine, and wheels. what possibly could go wrong?

hey, im an all nissan guy, and im saying u are wrong. The reason why americans are bankrupt is because their mainstream modesl fail to compete with their foreign competitors (toyota, honda etc..). That doesn't mean they are not reliable. Like i said, of course American cars have their set of problems, so do Japanese and definitely German vehicles. I think you should do some hwk buddy. And the viper, well its just and engine and wheels like i said, little could go wrong.
