There's competition, legacy and history between both bands. If like me, most have family and close friends that have played in both. I'm an Alcornite, but I've had many family members & friends to pass through the boom. Plus I have frats and sorors that went there that I still somewhat communicate with. Both bands did great! Can't take anything away from either.
