For an N/A build you can get away with $10k and using S5 n/a FC rotors or even RX-8 rotors.

I wouldn't do RX-8 rotors. I know a machine shop around in Miami that will machine me some out of titanium. SO, yeahhhh.....actually, make it about 40 g's.

Why not?

RX-8 rotors are just as capable. And are the ONLY off-the-shelf high-compression rotors available since they are 10:1 and the closest that comes to that is the S5 n/a rotors that are 9.7:1.

And RX-8's clearance specs are much tighter and the side seals are better designed.

They are not weaker if thats what you're thinking. They are made the same way as they have always been, with some minor changes to help with tolerance, wear, and potential fail areas
