Mark Farner was the genius of GFR. He wrote and composed over 90% of all their music and lyrics. He is the heart & soul of GFR, noone else can replace him. Funny that don "sewer" brewer stated the Messenger guitar was a "piece of shit" but took it from the rock & roll hall of fame, without Mark's permission. Faux Funk was my idea about Don and Mel's band; glad to see Mark picked up on it.The fans want to see them reunite but I can't see it happening.
