@jjjklsdf: R&L had David as their guest on their show and in turn I'm sure there were many R&L fans who've never heard of David or maybe never shown interest became his fans. I am an R&L fan and enjoyed hearing them sing along with David. By seeing that David was a good sport by being on the show with them, it made me like DC more. They weren't even making fun of his hair. And David was even laughing along with it.

Acutally it got cut in this version, but David made a joke right after that about "Unless you have some sort of disease" which was a whole video he did explaining why he couldn't smile. So the sour answer was the lead in on a joke. It would have made more sense if Link could have said "A disease?!!?" and David picked it up from there. Kinda like the hotsauce and advil thing. All leads being dropped in the water :)
