This is the report, an known to the public as the truth, 1993 flood took it out..Buttttt old timers say something else..Before the flood took the dam out flooding took place causing problems for the residents everytime a big rain came through..Some farmers threatened to blow it up, so the wives tale is that they did, ..As these old farmers are selling off their land or their child are it would be fun to do interviews..Many are getting to be in their 80's now and I love a good old timer story

Very nice..Sitting around a campfire with some of the old timers the story told is "They blew the Dam up because of the the constant flooding...." This was never proved but someone out there has a story worth telling some day..
