Apparently, when a JW molest a child, he does it with two other JWs watching. I came to this conclusion because when a molested child cries for help in the JW community, he needs two witnesses. Logically, it follows that most of these abuse take place in the presence of two witnesses. It's either that or they just want to rape children in peace.

For those who say he is lying because he said his mother was selling Watchtowers, you need to know that the magazines have only been 'free' for about the last 12 to 15 years. When this man was being abused the magazines had to be paid for even if you were a JW. I am an ex JW. I was one for over 30 years unfortunately, and we had to pay for magazines and books, and householders were asked to pay for them too.

I was molested by a member who also happened to be a cousin. That whole religion caused me a lot of confusion growing up both before and after this happened. I was 10 or 11 at the time. My grandmother insisted that all family members belong. But my mother and her son, my father, agreed that their children would be free to choose when they got old enough. Yet that didn't stop this "very religious person" from making vile remarks about her daughter-in-law. My mother. They are all Narcissists.

@Kelly14UK In Belgium it goes like this: When a JW parent tells a doctor not to give blood to a chil (-18 years) the doctor can call a judge and the parents of that kid don't have any legal power for the moment. So that way the doctor is allowed to give blood to that kid. Legaly the parent aren't the parents anymore of that kid until the judge says so. This can only when it is realy necessary like a surgery or serious accident,... When a person is +18 years of age the desicion is theirs.

If any of you got baptised in a different congregation, you have to rebaptise with them because Jehovah only gives authority to them to baptise people in water. I believe his story. My JW friend's JW dad molested them. Us kids talked about it, & we heard their mom & my mom talk about it. Last time I saw him, he was still an elder, preaching at a District Convention. My friend's husband was molesting her daughter, but the elders told her that she couldn't leave him because she had no "proof," so she stayed. That girl married an elder who beat her so bad she landed in the hospital with broken ribs. She left him, was DFed, & HE is in "good standing"!!
A woman, calling herself a Jehovah´s witness, comes to my door every week and every week I try to explain politely that she is not welcomed. Now, for some, probably very sick reason, she keeps coming back. Last Sunday, I have tried to explain the concept of liberty of choice that God has given us and she literally attacked me verbally!! The question is how many people let their harassment be without reacting?

@1955annemarie Oh, I know. I have relatives who belong to that sect. They're my mom's step mom's sons are Jehovahs. One of them recently couldn't take it anymore and resigned. i am so sorry. I was molested by an elder(*) too, and he was forgiven and I was the jezabel. I was 12. It went on for alsmost a year, as he "loved" me and he represented jah. Later, I found him in the kitchen with my mother. She was disfellowshipped for smoking, he still old great one. They suck-I hope they rot in their hell of their making.
In Jehovah's eyes no "gift" is more important than LOVE. But my guess is you'll be out knocking on doors this week trying to gain new brothers - yet still lacking in love for the ones you already have!

You were just a child at the time and couldn't fight for yourself, You should have gone back and beat the holy stuffing out of him several times just as soon as you were old enough to do so, it still may not be too late. Put your bible down for a minute, you still are traumatized and resentful perhaps at yourself. Better to confront even with violence than live with guilt, God would have forgiven you, now He has to forgive you for your years of resentment and heal your trauma too. Man up.

When i was 17 i did a schoolwork about the different aspects of christianty and yes i was at a JW meeting. Whats really about JW is that the bible they have is rewritten in 1900, its their own bible and still they are true to it and might know alot. i was raised a JW and when i turned 18 i "woke up" and realized many of their teachings dont agree with what the bible says. now that i dont go to meetings anymore NONE of my "friends", whom i grew up with since i was a kid, wont even speak to me. my mom has very little contact with me through texting but she wont even tell her new husband or he will get mad at her and take her to the elders. i never thought my friends would cut me off like that, but they did. and so easily to. its ridiculous
1 example that i did thorough research on was John 1:1 where the NWT inserts the word "a". In Greek, the word a does not exist. The society states that because the definite article is not used, the writer is saying that Jesus is a god. So they take the liberty of putting this word in, thinking it is making the scripture more clear to readers. Using the Societys reasoning then, when the definite article IS used then the Scripture is referring to God himself.
BUT, in John 20:28 Thomas uses the definite article when speaking 2 Jesus! Thomas says 2 Jesus in v.28: My Lord & My God! This is after Jesus has been resurrected & Thomas sticks his hand in Jesus side so that he can believe. Some say he is saying it out of shock like, Oh my God. If Thomas said this, that would be using Gods name in vain and its extremely likely that Jesus would have corrected him after he said this, but he didnt. Thomas was calling Jesus His Lord and his God!!
another issue i have with them is very disturbing to me.Acts 4:12- This is also extremely clear to me. Only through Jesus can we be saved. NO OTHER NAME GIVEN IN MEN. To me this means that if someone else says that we must go through them to be saved, then they are wrong.
We are not saved through the anointed as paragraph 20 in the August 1, 1981 Watchtower says Your attitude toward the wheat-like anointed brothers of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be THE DETERMINING FACTOR as to whether you go into everlasting cutting-off or receive everlasting life. This is a very bold statement. I will go as far to say that this statement is blasphemy against Jesus and his Father, whos will is made crystal clear at John 6:40.
i can understand where ur coming from. i beleive JW's are some of the most sincere people out there when it comes to their religion. i know for a fact that they truly believe what they teach is the truth. but they are all simply captives of a concept. If your really interested in what JW's teach and how it is greatly flawed read the book "CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE" or "IN SEARCH OF CHRISTIAN FREEDOM". theyre written from a former governing body member.

look at their teaching on facial hair. its not really a big deal but a ministerial servant admitted to me there is nothing in the bible about it being wrong to have facial hair. BUT, the watchtower society says that there is. And if your baptized and have a beard and continue to refuse to shave it, u will be disfellowshipped. i think its kinda stupid i mean why wouldn't u just shave it but its a minor example that u can get DF'd for something non-biblical. its all about following the WTS.

I remember not being allowed to wear trousers to the kingdom hall because I am a woman. There was no proper reason given. Women in the workplace, in courts of law, etc can wear trousers/pants, so I couldn't understand that at all. I was told that if I did insist on wearing them, I would be viewed as rebellious.
I once asked a JW about women wearing trousers and why they weren't allowed to wear them on the door to door work. She was a Circuit Overseer's wife, which means she is supposed to be a top notch JW.
She said if women were allowed to wear trousers, they'd think it was alright to wear jeans, and that would give a bad impression of JWs. My reply was, so the men are trusted to wear trousers and not resort to wearing jeans, but women aren't? She had no reply to that.

Apparently, when a JW molest a child, he does it with two other JWs watching. I came to this conclusion because when a molested child cries for help in the JW community, he needs two witnesses. Logically, it follows that most of these abuse take place in the presence of two witnesses. It's either that or they just want to rape children in peace.

i've heard similar stories about children being molested by men in the congregation of jw's. and while i feel so sympathetic to the stories i hear since i was sexually abused (not by a jw), in the back of my mind, i'm always wondering if they're true. i'm not saying that this didn't really happen to this poor man, but im going to really need for this to be the truth in order to believe it. i realize that in cases like these, the WT society tends to brush it under the rug.. :|

I grew up Catholic and now a JW, and I was molested and abused by my uncle, my dad (really my uncle, too) and other uncles where ALWAYS trying to see me naked or have sex, flirt with me. For those who say he is lying because he said his mother was selling Watchtowers, you need to know that the magazines have only been 'free' for about the last 12 to 15 years. When this man was being abused the magazines had to be paid for even if you were a JW. I am an ex JW. I was one for over 30 years unfortunately, and we had to pay for magazines and books, and householders were asked to pay for them too.

I was molested by a member who also happened to be a cousin. That whole religion caused me a lot of confusion growing up both before and after this happened. I was 10 or 11 at the time. My grandmother insisted that all family members belong. But my mother and her son, my father, agreed that their children would be free to choose when they got old enough. Yet that didn't stop this "very religious person" from making vile remarks about her daughter-in-law. My mother. They are all Narcissists.

@Kelly14UK In Belgium it goes like this: When a JW parent tells a doctor not to give blood to a chil (-18 years) the doctor can call a judge and the parents of that kid don't have any legal power for the moment. So that way the doctor is allowed to give blood to that kid. Legaly the parent aren't the parents anymore of that kid until the judge says so. This can only when it is realy necessary like a surgery or serious accident,... When a person is +18 years of age the desicion is theirs.

I believe his story. My JW friend's JW dad molested them. Us kids talked about it, & we heard their mom & my mom talk about it. Last time I saw him, he was still an elder, preaching at a District Convention. My friend's husband was molesting her daughter, but the elders told her that she couldn't leave him because she had no "proof," so she stayed. That girl married an elder who beat her so bad she landed in the hospital with broken ribs. She left him, was DFed, & HE is in "good standing"!!

A woman, calling herself a Jehovah´s witness, comes to my door every week and every week I try to explain politely that she is not welcomed. Now, for some, probably very sick reason, she keeps coming back. Last Sunday, I have tried to explain the concept of liberty of choice that God has given us and she literally attacked me verbally!! The question is how many people let their harassment be without reacting?

i am so sorry. I was molested by an elder(*) too, and he was forgiven and I was the jezabel. I was 12. It went on for alsmost a year, as he "loved" me and he represented jah. Later, I found him in the kitchen with my mother. She was disfellowshipped for smoking, he still old great one. They suck-I hope they rot in their hell of their making.

You were just a child at the time and couldn't fight for yourself, You should have gone back and beat the holy stuffing out of him several times just as soon as you were old enough to do so, it still may not be too late. Put your bible down for a minute, you still are traumatized and resentful perhaps at yourself. When i was 17 i did a schoolwork about the different aspects of christianty and yes i was at a JW meeting. Whats really about JW is that the bible they have is rewritten in 1900, its their own bible and still they are true to it and might know alot. i was raised a JW and when i turned 18 i "woke up" and realized many of their teachings dont agree with what the bible says. now that i dont go to meetings anymore NONE of my "friends", whom i grew up with since i was a kid, wont even speak to me. my mom has very little contact with me through texting but she wont even tell her new husband or he will get mad at her and take her to the elders. i never thought my friends would cut me off like that, but they did. and so easily to. its ridiculous

1 example that i did thorough research on was John 1:1 where the NWT inserts the word "a". In Greek, the word a does not exist. The society states that because the definite article is not used, the writer is saying that Jesus is a god. So they take the liberty of putting this word in, thinking it is making the scripture more clear to readers. Using the Societys reasoning then, when the definite article IS used then the Scripture is referring to God himself.

BUT, in John 20:28 Thomas uses the definite article when speaking 2 Jesus! Thomas says 2 Jesus in v.28: My Lord & My God! This is after Jesus has been resurrected & Thomas sticks his hand in Jesus side so that he can believe. Some say he is saying it out of shock like, Oh my God. If Thomas said this, that would be using Gods name in vain and its extremely likely that Jesus would have corrected him after he said this, but he didnt. Thomas was calling Jesus His Lord and his God!!

We are not saved through the anointed as paragraph 20 in the August 1, 1981 Watchtower says Your attitude toward the wheat-like anointed brothers of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be THE DETERMINING FACTOR as to whether you go into everlasting cutting-off or receive everlasting life. This is a very bold statement. I will go as far to say that this statement is blasphemy against Jesus and his Father, whos will is made crystal clear at John 6:40.

i can understand where ur coming from. i beleive JW's are some of the most sincere people out there when it comes to their religion. i know for a fact that they truly believe what they teach is the truth. but they are all simply captives of a concept. If your really interested in what JW's teach and how it is greatly flawed read the book "CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE" or "IN SEARCH OF CHRISTIAN FREEDOM". theyre written from a former governing body member.

look at their teaching on facial hair. its not really a big deal but a ministerial servant admitted to me there is nothing in the bible about it being wrong to have facial hair. BUT, the watchtower society says that there is. And if your baptized and have a beard and continue to refuse to shave it, u will be disfellowshipped. i think its kinda stupid i mean why wouldn't u just shave it but its a minor example that u can get DF'd for something non-biblical. its all about following the WTS.

I remember not being allowed to wear trousers to the kingdom hall because I am a woman. There was no proper reason given. Women in the workplace, in courts of law, etc can wear trousers/pants, so I couldn't understand that at all. I was told that if I did insist on wearing them, I would be viewed as rebellious.

I once asked a JW about women wearing trousers and why they weren't allowed to wear them on the door to door work. She was a Circuit Overseer's wife, which means she is supposed to be a top notch JW.
She said if women were allowed to wear trousers, they'd think it was alright to wear jeans, and that would give a bad impression of JWs. My reply was, so the men are trusted to wear trousers and not resort to wearing jeans, but women aren't? She had no reply to that.

Just because one person did something wrong does not mean that all the people in that religion are bad, no matter what religion you believe in there are always going to be people that make wrong decisions
