Very cool. This is my favorite scene.. Directors cut is infinity times better though.. Why? Because the shot where the dove fly's off into the sky, the blue sky is replaced with a dystopian metropolis backround which.. is beautiful. Love this movie.
Hey great animation, Im studying animation at university and was hoping to do something similar to this, perhaps another scene from blade runner, though my uni is really tight with copyright and was wondering do you need copyright consent to do something like this.

Well, unless your making money, yes, but if the university tries to take ownership of your work, then you have a problem.

Thanks, I wanted to get the "attack ships on fire" but scrapped it because of time" I did have ships though.
