I just watched "KOBE CLUTCH SHOTS" video and i was wrong, he does make late game shots and game winners, now my criteria for CLUTCH PLAYER is a) he makes em against the best teams in the league and b) he makes em in big time situations such as playoffs. Now Compare that "KOBE BRYANT CLUTCH SHOTS" to the "MICHAEL JORDAN CLUTCH SHOTS TOP 10" and you will see what I mean by clutch. Jordan's was almost all in the playoffs and against the best teams at the time. Thats why i believe Kobe is the best closer in the league, but not he most clutch. He can easily be the most clutch, but potential means nothing if the player chooses not to use his ability against the better teams. it sucks that kobe wasnt even the best PERFORMER in the playoffs.

Back then he made those shots regularly. since Gasol he hasn't been the same. If he never won this ring we would never say he became smarter. I just watched "KOBE CLUTCH SHOTS" video and i was wrong, he does make late game shots and game winners, now my criteria for CLUTCH PLAYER is a) he makes em against the best teams in the league and b) he makes em in big time situations such as playoffs. We know he can make the shots so why doesn't he make those same shots we see in the video against the best teams REGULARLY. In this playoffs when was Kobe more clutch than Ray Allen? Even Rashard Lewis hit clutch shots, MEMORABLE shots.

maybe its jut me but I feel that he let us down this year. yes he won his 4th ring (1st without SHAQ) but he left us we no memories, no plays that we can reminisce on 10 years from now, and be like "Wow I remember what I was doing when...." I know where I was when he made those two threes against Portland, I know where I was when he made the shots vs. Phoenix. Name the last Finals MVP that is as dominant that didn't have a string of memorable plays. Last year, pierce had, THE KNEE and GAME 7.

ok i see your point too but i and yes he is a better player now because of his smarts and better fg percentage and added skills. But, he isn't the most clutch player in the NBA, let me say it again he is the best 4th quarter closer/scorer but when it comes to last two minutes or minute of games in the big time situations he isn't that CLUTCH as we like to think. He trusts his teammates more yes, but when he does shoot it, we know he is going to shoot it, but we don't think it's always going in.

Think about when you saw Jordan, Miller, Bird in the playoffs or finals and its a minute left or two minutes, you almost anticipated and knew they were making the shot. Let's be honest now yes Kobe passed it up, which was a clutch play but in the whole finals what else clutch besides the steal did he do?
