I miss my dwarf hamster! EVERY day when I got home, opened the door into the room where the cage was - my dog would run to the cage and stick his nose down to see if the hamster was doing something exciting.

But for all I know, he could easily be looking to eat the little hamster, but he never snapped at it or anything like that.

PS CraigW....hamsters love human interaction even if you hold one for a short time. I bring my hamster out of his cage every night and let him run in his ball and sometimes he just nuzzles into my shirt and falls asleep.
