This is the problem with TV shows today. They are too liberalized, politically-correct, and over-sexualized and yet, people watch them. TV in the 80's was about good vs. bad, right vs. wrong, yet people complained about how violent it was despite the fact moral values were being taught. Parents, encourage your kids to watch DVD's of The A-Team, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Magnum P.I., Simon & Simon, The Dukes of Hazzard, The Incredible Hulk, "CHiPS", MacGyver so that kids will know good from bad.
It's so ironic that the A-Team is now so safe compared to the TV shows of today - it's not dark, not gory. Good guys are good guys, bad guys were bad guys, and men were men. Nowadays, there's betrayal, there's corruption, there's sexual harassment or rape, there's discrimination, there's profiling and stereotyping - and that's the 'good guys'!! I'm sick of it. Give me old school good guy-bad guy, black & white shows like the A-Team any time!
@Tigadee00 you're absolutely right mate! TV shows nowdays seem to rely on shocking people with sex, violence or exploitation. No fun to watch and not good for children to look up to!
Dirk appeared in a scene where Face was going o his tanning salon and met Dirk on the way and asked Dirk "This lotion is great for the body, but what about the face?" and Dirk answered "Why mess with it?". In another scene, Dirk receives electric shock therapy and two doctors stand by watching. One of the doctors is Dwight Schulz. Unfortunately, both scenes sadly didn't make it into the movie or the DVD.
@Tigadee00 yeah what a bunch of fully retarded idiots decided to cut the only good scenes out of the movie? To be honest i only watched the movie because i wanted to see the cameos! and these shitbirds cut it out. Guess there will be one less bluRay sold this time...
In the movie remake, I was expecting at least a cameo appearance from the original cast... was so disappointed.
After watching the film, I had to explain to my daughter how different the movie version was from the TV series. The movie somehow lacked the chemistry you fellows had in the series. Really enjoyed watching you all gel together despite your quirky personalities.
You guys are really talented and still very handsome. I hope we could see more of you.
For all the stupid idiots that approved of canceling the A-Team I'm 15, born 1996, best tv series ever! Violence is ever where the A-Team were heroes like superman or spider-man. For that just cancel ever movie, show, ever single LITTLE thing that has violence & we'll all be watching blue's clues & be play video games like bratz f*ck man no call of duty or gears of war or fricking assassins creed. & I bet all the people that cancel are hypocrites.
The A-Team was one of my all time favorite shows growing up. I loved the camaraderie and the fun the characters had. I was <10yrs old during the entire duration of the show and I knew that it was more cartoon violence than anything else. If anyone got hurt, it was one of the boys, not the bad guys!
I do wish the show would have continued longer, for the actors' sakes as well as the viewers. NBC really did them a major disservice. To this day, I still adore the show!(Murdock is still my fav!)
This is my all-time favorite 80's tv show. It brings back great memories every time I watch it. It's so simple and fun to watch- makes me laugh every time. A-Team Forever!!
News media, intertainment industry all under the control of banks and high-finances...and who controls banks and high-finances? The biggest pack of Commies on Earth, the same scumbags that flooded the Russian Red Revolutionaries with dollars and made sure the USSR became an industrial-military powerhouse! 70% of the Vietcong military vehicles were made in Gorki factory (Russia) and this factory was completly made, maintained and upgraded by Americans!
Loved the A-Team from childhood in the 80's to being an adult today, Yeah i still watch the dvd box set. Watched the movie tonight, and even though the 80's kid part of me wanted to hate a remake, I Loved it, the A-Team is timeless as the cast says so often it is cartoonesk, the good guys win the bad guys go to jail at the end. At the end of the day the A-Team was and is a classic, you love it or you hate it. I'm just so glad that I can share a part of my childhood the A-Team with kids today .
@k0nrack I just got the 5 season DVD set & I am enjoying it thoroughly. I'd thought at first that the action would be cliched, the humour too dry & the acting campy. But lo and behold, I am actually enjoying it. The humour and team interaction, & the action are still enjoyable. I am even watching it with my young children who are digging it. Who needs 'realistic', dark, gritty TV? There are so many shows like that today, it's boring and depressing! Give me good old fashioned heroes like A-Team!
i love the A-Team . What do you guys think of the A-team movie? I saw the trailer , it dosen't look bad... but in my book there is only going to be one A-Team. Did they really have to remake it?
btw, you can't turn on a TV show or movie today without a woman beating up some guy... or guys... but that's not violence.. that's political correctness.
Yes, you are right. The A-Team never killed anyone for 5 seasons, but "Bull" Fulbright got killed by a f*cking Vietnamese guy, and they retaliated and shot his murderer. - I think that's pretty fair.
I didn't mean the a-team in 2010, I meant the represantation of violence in the media in general. My point was that the violence which occured in the a-team in the 80ies was much more harmless than some off the things one can see nowadays.Obviously, I can't make any statement about the a-team movie.
How the is this a Republican show?
Seems more socialist to me how they help people a lot of the time for free.

I mean favorite television show ever! With no sexual scenes in it. There is no other television show like it.
Danny58709 6 months ago
@Danny58709 The were sexual scenes in The A-Team, but by 1980s standards not anywhere near today's standards. So it was very mild in comparison.

I liked the non-violence appeal of the show.
I liked the ideas that the A-team came up within a few minutes a costumed tank rolls out to do away with the bad guys and that was funny.

@Tigadee00 I have the whole A-Team series in DVD box sets! What I've been noticing is that the episodes are
unedited; there are no deleted scenes unlike watching them on network tv. So I watch A-Team episodes till the cows come home!.
