THE difference between the 1001bhp veyron and the 1722 rwhp supra, is........... are you ready?.... the bugatti is factory stock, they dont make supras with more than 330 rwhp, so you cant possibly say a supra just beat a veyron, cause you have a modified racecar racing a factory stock supercar. besides, the texas mile record is 347mph held by a rocket powered funnycar.
if this is really true then wow. how much hp it has? nelson racing tuned some car and made it 1900hp and it weights only 1,2tons and its also flat so may have good aerodynamics
I hate that people never recognize the awesomeness of this car. Everyone says, Bugatti this, Bugatti that... The Bugatti eclipsing 250 is not in a standing mile! If this car was to attempt an actual top speed, theoretically with it's gearing and horsepower it would surpass 300 mph. Theoretically! The sheet metal and glass may break in two before 300mph, so who knows! Regardless, in my opinion, this is the fast street car in the world. 7.91 @ 189mph and 246 in the STANDING mile...
I beleive the last time I saw a stock Bugatti Veyron run in the standing mile it hit 201mph...
I saw this supra run as well... No contest. Not to mention it hit 246 in 2008... Give the Boost Logic guy the 1.3 million that a Veyron costs and see what they can build you. ;)

@dfrent to go from 243to 300mph takes much more power, i would almost say 3 times more.... the bugatti veyron does 253mph and has 1000hp. the veyron super sport has 1200hp AND weights 200kg less and has better aerodynamics.. and it only does 14mph more. and seriously they definitely flogged the shit out of this engine and they didnt to this to the veyron. the veyron lasts very long but if u would buy this car and drive around u would propably have to fix/check something several times a month

It's only meant to drive quarter miles and such. imagine you would drive this car every day like a veyron, i guess if you dont maintance the engine like a pro several times you will sooner or later get problems. I've onest seen some documentation about a 2200hp car and the guy said he checks out the whole engine after each ride....
@dfrent alright i just checked their website and they say that this supra has 1900hp, which is amazing for a 3,3liter 6cylinder engine..... i wonder if this really is true because doing "just" 7.91@189 MPH in a quarter mile is a bit unrealistic for 1900hp i would say. well still the veyron is a masterpiece and i bet if it would have been as cheap and if there would have been as many pieces of it as the supra we would propably see videos on youtube like 2800hp veyron lol

yeah..but what supra isnt making over 1k hp lol. a bike going that fast takes..1) Balls. 2) damn high amount of HP.
and bugattis are slow slow slow compared to dallas mile cars.
