is there a difference in speed between the integra GSR vtec and the integra type R vtec? whats the diffence between the two models saying theyre both stock and same year? thanks

A GSR stock engine produces 170 HP.
A Stock Type R (DC2) produces 195HP stock.
So power wise the Type R has the advantage.
Also it weighs slightly less because of the removal of sound insulation.
Another factor is the transmission gearing, 1st isthe same I believe but the gears get different after that.
Last but not least the suspension on a Type R is much stiffer than a GSR making it better suited for conering and road feel.
Oh and the last bit is the engine is a bit altered than a GSR.
