Hi there! Would you mind telling me what is the name of the song that plays in the very beginning of this video? And the name of the style of music, I really like it :)
First "rollout" was 7--8--07, and yet, here we are STILL without a single delivery to a customer. Too bad they decided to contract everything out instead of making it in-house. It'd be done by now.
im working on cad drawings of the "Boeing 900" u heard it hear first. we should have it out in about 25 years its 800 ft long 1450 ft wingspan carries 400 passengers 3 stage decks and 2 stripper poles, champagne room, 20 person hot tub, a grill, indoor weight room, bowling lanes, movie theater, b-ball half court, ping pong tables climbing wall and it has super-cruise. ohhh yeah. suck on that.
@XxFsxloverxX yeah there calling it something else besides the 797, look up Blended wing body or BWB on google images thats what it looks like. I think it looks REALLY awsome. ;)
unbelieveble, after years and years of work, look what they rbuild, realy fucking ugly plane, it typical american style :) boeing should send some ppl to europe to learn a little bit about what going on outside of usa !! I MEAN IT
@lauriersroses333 Ugly? The thing is fuel efficient and more technologically advanced than your pitiful AirBus will be 3 years from now. Not to mention the wings are gorgeous.
She thinks she is lucky! My dad is in the Navy AND has a pass to see this stuff! I was one of the first of maybe 1000 people to see the interior,(back in 09) thnq we moved down to AZ and at Phoenix Mesa Gateway I saw the 2nd dreamliner ever made. Yes I am kinda showin off sorry. ^^
AircraftCompare DOTcom compares the 787 with all the competing airplanes in the world, with interior photos, specs and spices, know everything about every airplane in the world

I know of a design engineer for Boeing. And whilst he`s in Seattle, his bitch is back home in Hull, England, getting fucked by anyone with enough money for a few glasses of wine.

evryone keeps going on about the a380, i wonder how good people will think the 830 is when they have to spend 1/2 the day in customs, because there near to the back of the line.?
\m/ Hello Dear Mary Win, i am very happy after see you how surfing the waves around you, you are a Beauty Goddess, you voice, the shinning in your eyes and all your expressions, if you sell me this plane, i buy you, thank you for make me happy, nice video, nice Kitty, TQM.
I think 747-800 is a cheap and boring replacement for the classic 747-400 series in my minds eye. Boeing did not want to invest in all new 747 replacement as it was seen as too risky a buisness venture. I applaud Airbus once again for taking the risk and pushing the envelope in terms of innovation and design technologies. I think Airbus have pushed aviation 20 years into the future whereas Boeing are still tinkering with a 1960s 747 design.
"1960s design" ?! "and 20 years into the future"?!?! is just making the plains much bigger and more enviromently bad:P the future, no i dont think soo...as they say boing "787 dreamliner revolutionizes " its true! does'nt comfort matter when you travel with your family or business trip etc.... :)
A380 will make air tarvel much better than it is currently because a full A380 makes more money than any other airliner that is currently in service. An A380 series starts making profit at 65% full capacity.
teheee, Keep drinking your fluoride, taking you mercury thimerisol shots that give you Geon Barres syndrome, get mercury amalgam tooth fillings and you can stay retarded. Have you gotten enough brain damage yet? I'll keep to my swimming and you can stay an imbecile. They still didn't find the engines at the pentagon or shanksville, nor the black boxes. Explain that teheee. Explain WT7 and its freefall collapse, without being hit by a plain. The carbon 787 could actually burn up if it crashed.
this plane reminds me of a fish trying to make its way in the murky waters. It sympathises with the air to move in the sky, wheras a fish moves in the water. Humans are like fish, swimming fish with shotguns ins their mouth who like to fuck themselves teheee:
Awsome! With this plane, I bet Boeing stock has rebound since all the put options on their stock on 9/11/2001. Do you think this one will vaporize too, if it crashed into the pentagon, or shanksville? We need to get some thermite in another building icon and some remote controls on the 787 and crah it into it, so we can keep the terrorisim fear mongering alive. Go military industrial complex!
I hope your happy about having your money, wages and retirement stolen though inflation and the 401K system. This 787 is a product of the money stolen through the fiat dollar and fractional reserve banking system. I'm straighter than a fucking light post, but thanks for the offer. My guess is that you are just an ignorant homophobe, who likes watching grown men slap asses in pro sports. What you should do is become cannon fodder in the illegal war on terror and the murder of the 1.3M iraqis.
I understand your anger about Iraq and the thousands dead. A few people used 9/11 to unleash their hate and revenge on innocent but Boeing is something all Americans feel proud of because it represents the results of effort and organization. Do you know how juch the world benefits every day by flying from any point of the world to another?
Its silly that people are comparing the Boeing products to Airbus... and so on. Look, nobody makes a bad product; they are designed and marketed to entirely different purposes. Over time, the decisive factor of success or failure is market based... Will the market that they were built for still be around? Doesn't matter what you "feel" is better.. the market will determine that. I hope they both succeed... just love airplanes.
Soo I didn't state what I said based solely on my opinion but based on what might be best for what you stated as "the market" Konkera down there did me a favor and brought up the stats and with the looks of it.. It seems like it may win the market in terms of overal ability. They are both good products and im very amaze as what technology is nowadays look at those 2 machines versus back in the days... Strictly awesome!
I love airplanes too that's why i work at the airport pushing back those airplanes for departure.. I jus stated what I said because other people here keepying saying boeing ain't shit.. and other people say the same for the airbus..
I really don't know the statistics on both the dreamliner and a 380, but just from the looks of it.. The 787 looks more efficient in terms of saving money... I mean the a380 is nice and huge I bet its spaciouse and everything,, but will they really be able to fill those planes all the way up all the time especialy with an economy like this?
The 787 can fly 15000 KM non-stop (without landing or refueling). No other civilian plane on earth can do that. It can carry up to 330 passengers. It Economizes up to 20% fuel compared to other planes. It can land on almost ALL normal airports in the world.
The Boeing 787 is the MOST commercially successful plane in history. More than 860 units already sold even before it hit the tarmac
The airbus A380 is about size, not much else. MOST airports in the world canNOT accommodate it operationallY
I guess im looking at this from maybe airline company's point of view.. I work for the airlines and they been furloughing lots of people, and been charging soo much for baggage etc etc.. And well the 787 looks more fuel efficent.. looks lighter.. I don't know just my 2 cents.
oh agreed,..... and i should know i have bene working on the friggin' thing for four years. The point I was making is that it was RR engines rather than Pratt and Whitney. There are some excellent innovations with the aircraft however ...it is late...a tad. Never mind I wont be working on it this xmas...for once.
Its not the only Airplane made out of Carbon, airbus makes Planes out of Carbon, look at the a380 upper Deck, the A400m (Completley made out of carbon), and the a350.
But, the A350 is much better, looks much better, is quieter, and its smarter
You are truly a jackass. What grounds do you have to support your gibberish? Do you have any data to support your BS? The 87 has only been in the air for 20 minutes.
Boeing > Airbus, but really Boeing Employees need a reality check here in Washington, I believe the 787 is now moved to North Dakota because the work rate was so low here and then they went on strike and got denied their request even though they got the offer to get their ass back to work. They were all fired from what I heard. But I can't wait for the 787 a few of my family members worked on it so I really wanna see it being commercially flown hopefully soon.
...the 787 passed the wing load test while the a380 DID NOT PASS the 150% load test...it came close, however. Try and find video footage of the a380 failure...good luck.

Go and look at the history of Boeing, it has more crashes than airbus. Remeber how that TWA aircraft 747 broke into two pieces after takeoff. Go and do a research and then come and talk to me. A330 bashes and trashes 767, A340 fucked 777, A350 will rape 787, A380 has already nailed 747. You just wait and see the future aircrafts that airbus is going to make. Boeing is kicking itself and saying why didn't the idea of a double decker aircraft came to our minds first
LOL Boeing is such a dumb ass company filled with dumb as people. They could have eaisly built an aircraft like A380 the double decker, but now airbus has done it, their asses are burning in fire.
Hopefully B787 will come out at the end of 2010 like they promised. Seems as though there's a lot of concern about the aircraft production like the weight, fuselage and stuff.
your fuckin stupid dude, do us all a favor and dont comment on vids, moron, lets see you build anything let alone a plane of this caliber, i hate idiots like you, you all should be shot !
Both A380 & B787 projects had problems, as an old timer times seem to be repeating itself like in the late 60's/ 70's when the B747 rolled out and the economy was bad the B747 had to competed with the DC10 & L1011 because, the Concorde never was a threat, times are different now, the big density project (B747) survived because International carriers, american carriers mostly bought the DC-10&L1011, except TW&PA, others bought a few but it took a while, I'm betting on Boeing, Airbus ? Will see.
ummm I think whether you are an ardent Boing or Airbus fan, you would have to say the 747 is one the most iconic, safe, and successful airliners ever built!
Even though pilots really don't fly airbus'? You got to be kidding me. Airbus takes the decisions away from the pilots. Boeing is for the real pilots and airbus is for flight sim nerds like yourself. Boeing, king of all aircraft builders!
notlikeyou200 really, i was a real pilot, i have more airbus's on my flight sim than boeings i like the a380, and the a320, but my personle fav is my little 172sp..
if you count how many boeings there are out there and airbus and you counts accidents with the boeing and airbus the boeing is the safest aircraft in the world
Haha thats a joke everyone knows airbus is making it big and safer then boeing with all the computer systems the airbus has boeing cant beat them not even with there A380 you couldnt even stall it why because the computer sences that it will stall and inscreases power to full thrust and you can only bank 67 degrees that way for stupid pilots dont tear the under body and structure apart little by little fucking pilots and human error! the 747 boeing is a plain with trouble past!
yea but the boeing 787 is in the top 5 most ordered wide bodied aircraft and it hasnt even started service yet, doesnt that tell you that boeing are doing something better thn aairbus
All of you jackholes saying that Boeing or Airbus is better than the other, what is it that makes them better, huh? They all have to do the same job, they all have to meet the same standards. Its pointless to bicker about two companies that have to do the exact same thing.
I respect both aircraft companies, but as far as preference for which to fly? Its whichever has the cheapest ticket. Just get me there. Isn't that all that should matter you dolts? And don't give me the "American jobs" bit.

I am sayin it again Boeing shit airbus amazin airbus has the a380 and Boeing has a plastic 787 I've done some history background checks and I've found out that Boeing have made more faulty plains that crash than airbus am blaming the Lockerbie bombings on a 747 not that mad guy that's diein
you're an idiot. first, learn how to spell. second, this "plastic crap" that the 787 is made up of is composite material. this composite material has a much higher strength to weight ratio than traditional aircraft materials do. this also makes the 787 a more durable aircraft and also lighter, resulting in less fuel consumption, resulting in reduced costs. this must make the 787 "shit" huh?
I'm curious how is the large engine size influencing the drag in case the plane is forced to shut-off one engine while in flight. They look very big compared w/ the size of the plane as seen fro the fromt and this means the drag is pretty strong. is this plane controllable in an emergency?
The loss of an engine has been accounted all the way down to minimum controllable airspeed where full controls can no longer keep the airplane stabilized. The failed engine will continue to rotate or "windmill" from the relative wind flow into the engine - that is if the engine can still rotate. From the moment this aircraft passes takeoff decision speed on the runway it will be able to continue to takeoff and climb out on one engine.
I agree and thenk you for responding. I assume FAA wouldn't let it fly if it is not controllable with one engine shutoff. I was wondering because I saw how wide the engines are if seen from the front, adding a lot of drag if unused and unlike in case of propeller which allows feathering, it will produce a lot of drag even if it is left to "windmill".

It is very glad for the company of the Boeing and South Korea to cooperate and to make an attractive airplane.

(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we always want to design new aeroplanes?
(3) Why do we think that building new aeroplane is a representation of success?
(4) What do we prove through designing and building new aeroplane?

I applaud Airbus once again for taking the risk and pushing the envelope in terms of innovation and design technologies. I think Airbus have pushed aviation 20 years into the future whereas Boeing are still tinkering with a 1960s 747 design.
fachy1981 2 years ago

R32inAZ 2 years ago
Soo I didn't state what I said based solely on my opinion but based on what might be best for what you stated as "the market" Konkera down there did me a favor and brought up the stats and with the looks of it.. It seems like it may win the market in terms of overal ability. They are both good products and im very amaze as what technology is nowadays look at those 2 machines versus back in the days... Strictly awesome!
snsosecret 2 years ago
I love airplanes too that's why i work at the airport pushing back those airplanes for departure.. I jus stated what I said because other people here keepying saying boeing ain't shit.. and other people say the same for the airbus..
snsosecret 2 years ago
I really don't know the statistics on both the dreamliner and a 380, but just from the looks of it.. The 787 looks more efficient in terms of saving money... I mean the a380 is nice and huge I bet its spaciouse and everything,, but will they really be able to fill those planes all the way up all the time especialy with an economy like this?
snsosecret 2 years ago
The 787 can fly 15000 KM non-stop (without landing or refueling). No other civilian plane on earth can do that. It can carry up to 330 passengers. It Economizes up to 20% fuel compared to other planes. It can land on almost ALL normal airports in the world.
The Boeing 787 is the MOST commercially successful plane in history. More than 860 units already sold even before it hit the tarmac
The airbus A380 is about size, not much else. MOST airports in the world canNOT accommodate it operationallY
konkera 2 years ago 4
Thank's that made it easier to understand.
snsosecret 2 years ago
I guess im looking at this from maybe airline company's point of view.. I work for the airlines and they been furloughing lots of people, and been charging soo much for baggage etc etc.. And well the 787 looks more fuel efficent.. looks lighter.. I don't know just my 2 cents.

oh agreed,..... and i should know i have bene working on the friggin' thing for four years. The point I was making is that it was RR engines rather than Pratt and Whitney. There are some excellent innovations with the aircraft however ...it is late...a tad. Never mind I wont be working on it this xmas...for once.

Dreamliner is a piece of shit.
Its not the only Airplane made out of Carbon, airbus makes Planes out of Carbon, look at the a380 upper Deck, the A400m (Completley made out of carbon), and the a350.
But, the A350 is much better, looks much better, is quieter, and its smarter

Boeing > Airbus, but really Boeing Employees need a reality check here in Washington, I believe the 787 is now moved to North Dakota because the work rate was so low here and then they went on strike and got denied their request even though they got the offer to get their ass back to work. They were all fired from what I heard. But I can't wait for the 787 a few of my family members worked on it so I really wanna see it being commercially flown hopefully soon.
Rawrzellers 2 years ago
...the 787 passed the wing load test while the a380 DID NOT PASS the 150% load test...it came close, however.

Will see.
TWTR4EVER 2 years ago 4
boeing 787= fail alert
if they don't get this thing out soon, the A350 might get more orders and airbus might for once in a lifetime have a winning aircraft

I am sayin it again Boeing shit airbus amazin airbus has the a380 and Boeing has a plastic 787 I've done some history background checks and I've found out that Boeing have made more faulty plains that crash than airbus am blaming the Lockerbie bombings on a 747 not that mad guy that's diein
smeato09 2 years ago
you're an idiot. first, learn how to spell. second, this "plastic crap" that the 787 is made up of is composite material. this composite material has a much higher strength to weight ratio than traditional aircraft materials do. this also makes the 787 a more durable aircraft and also lighter, resulting in less fuel consumption, resulting in reduced costs. this must make the 787 "shit" huh?

you have the most amazing plane ever bilt out side, and all you care about is ur dumb toy, you lil girl, go home get some one else to do this,
mgc1p3rzq 2 years ago
I'm curious how is the large engine size influencing the drag in case the plane is forced to shut-off one engine while in flight. They look very big compared w/ the size of the plane as seen fro the fromt and this means the drag is pretty strong. is this plane controllable in an emergency?
Jordache22222 2 years ago
The loss of an engine has been accounted all the way down to minimum controllable airspeed where full controls can no longer keep the airplane stabilized. The failed engine will continue to rotate or "windmill" from the relative wind flow into the engine - that is if the engine can still rotate. From the moment this aircraft passes takeoff decision speed on the runway it will be able to continue to takeoff and climb out on one engine.
pilot4321 2 years ago
I agree and thenk you for responding. I assume FAA wouldn't let it fly if it is not controllable with one engine shutoff. I was wondering because I saw how wide the engines are if seen from the front, adding a lot of drag if unused and unlike in case of propeller which allows feathering, it will produce a lot of drag even if it is left to "windmill".
Jordache22222 2 years ago
