  • Proud to be bolth Scottish and Irish, all the whiskey i want!!!!

  • I'm part Irish on my mom's side and even though it's much I still love this part of my heratiage.

  • Do I like this because I'm Irish? My great great great grandfather came to the United States more than a century ago and left behind a whole castle. I don't know the name of the castle, but it was owned by an O'Sullivan.

  • haha i gotta dance to this song at irish dance..and now its in my head

  • Gaelic Storm's origins can be traced back to 1996, when Patrick Murphy and Steve Wehmeyer joined with Steve Twigger and Uillean piper Brian Walsh to perform at O'Brien's Irish Pub and Restaurant in Santa Monica, California, of which Murphy was the manager. from wikipedia.........damn yanks anyway!

  • @MrAlsby Gaelic Storm was the band playing on the 3rd class passenger deck in the Titanic movie! lol

  • @IrishySoccer hey irishy - ty but, i was already aware of that. i was making a sarcastic comment referencing the total absurdity of arguing about irish vs. scottish and so on.

darn good band - i like em.

  • Just found out they're coming to Iowa a week before my birthday in march, and I now have my birthday gift picked out.

  • this song is addicting, i just want to get up and start dancing. and i can't even dance.

  • I'll find myself tapping my foot and smiling without even thinking about it every time i listen to this song

  • Amazing and not just saying that because I am Scottish.

  • I'm half Irish and half native american and everybody likes me

  • I feel at home when I hear this. Thank you so much for posting this, Godwillcome. :) Made my day, my friend.

  • Sad....

  • @corinthias 123 Pat is from Ireland, Steve is from England. I do think they live in the States now.

  • I love it :) Gaelic storm is the best!

  • The Bloody Jack books brought me here. :)

  • There are two kinds of people in this world: those that are Gaelic/Celtic and those who want to be Gaelic/Celtic

  • @TimOvrlrd I Am an Aussie Bitza (bits if this and that) and will FIGHT like a DRUNK irishman if anyone denies me MY chance to claim Celtic blood lol

  • Super performance of this Irish classic!

  • 13 ppl don't have tae listen tae our music if they dislike

  • i ams very veryg drunk anda this song makes it even bertter :)

  • this vertion is shit compared to the dubliners vertion!! gooooo dublin!

  • @habbohello Both versions are great as both bands are great!

  • @habbohello EACH TO HIS OWN! The Dubliners are great. But so is Gaelic Storm who is bringing the music to a new generation. So, even though I love The Dubliners, please keep your inappropriatene profanity and provincialism to yourself. Try a little more openess and generosity of spirit instead.

  • No...

  • wow im irish and i can't spell Ireland right im so ashamed >.>

  • @Mattlover0 It makes sense... Are ye drunk?

  • this makes me so proud to be irish there is no beter place to be from then irland best place in the world <3's to irland!!!! :D

  • I've listened to several version of this song, but I think this is my favorite. It's the most unpolished and 'genuine' version-sounds like something you'd hear a trio of mates singin at the pub, not something of a CD.

  • my great great great grandfather is from ireland and the second this song comes on i wanna be in ireland dancing instead of america sittin

  • i irish dance and this is my all time favorite song to practice to i LOVE it

  • When I listen to gaelic storm, flogging molly, or the dropkick murphys my dad yells at me thinking I forgot that im scottish not irish XD

  • @HRGROCK Ah sure we're all the same - apart from the Welsh. They're a funny strain of English that lot ;)

  • @DenizenV1 Why are the Welsh funny?

  • @lanie9709 they aren't welsch ye dip they are irish

  • @legionireland

To be perfectly honest, Gaelic Storm is American. From California in fact. They perform Irish folk and the like.

  • @HRGROCK Mix a little Enter the Haggis into that mashup of celtic bands and he should leave you alone.

  • @HRGROCK dropkick murphys are canadian sons of scotish parents, so, dont worry bout them when your dad yells at ye

  • @Wazgalort Pretty sure they're from Boston, not Canada.

  • @HRGROCK Scottish or Irish who cares your a celtic man are ya not ha ha let bygones be bygones eh plus think of how much our cultures have in common I mean I can barely tell Irish bagpipe music from Scottish so who cares the past is the past the present is for forgiving the past is for remembering what ya forgave and the future is for the outcome of a patched up/new friendship that's how I think of time (I'm assuming the Irish did something to the Scottish or the other way around)

  • @MRRYON0626 scotland was found by a irish tribe call the scot tribe so it the same realy

  • @Onbluewater Really good song, salute from Dalmatia, this is one of ours traditional songs - "DALMATINO, POVIŠĆU PRITRUJENA " - I like irish traditional songs...

  • @ArgentumBlitz Dalmatia, weary of history! "Paths, entrances of fields worn deep by donkeys Wells thirsty from millions of buckets Backs of peasants bent from hoeing weary from day-labourer toil Doorways of narrow streets worn deep by rebels' ankles, Festering sore of Dalmatia on thorn-bushes, Through the chains, hungry children tempted by breasts, And the people upright as stone columns, Dalmatia, weary of history. Harvest of rightousness was reaped by bodies..."
  • @ArgentumBlitz "....Dalmatia, weary of history!

Rebelion was sired on the thorn-bushes,

    Dalmatia, weary of history!

The history was stoppered by hungry childhood,

    Dalmatia, weary of history.

Through the chains, hungry children tempted by breasts,

and the people upright as stone columns,

    Dalmatia, weary of history!"

  • I really love this song ^^ so happy and funny ^^

  • Happy Music For A Monday Morn. Yeehaw.

  • this song is good by shamrock too its more of a techno sound to it

  • ringwormts115 - F U you retarded music "critic" get that techno bull shit out of here. You obviously don't know good music. I looked up "sham-rock" what a joke, they are destroying good Irish music, techno retards who don't have any talent so they set their electronic key boards to a beat and then use voice modification to make their voices bearable. Your review is the only rubbish here.

  • Does anyone know where I can download this?

  • A nice little ditty of a song, thanks for sharing!

  • this is shit look up da shamrock version of tell me ma now dat is a tune

  • @ringwormts115 u obvo dont know good music when u hear it then

  • D:! Gah I've been singing it wrong! I use to say "She is fancy she is pretty" It's handsome.. woops D:

XD We use to sing this all the time in school, all the girls in the school even had to sing it for a retiring teacher one year. Ahaha! Best song there ever was.

  • Fantastic! Can almost lick that Irish Guinness off my lips. How can you not sing or dance to this???? Is it political to say the Irish Guards always give the best Trooping the Colour - it's music like this (not to mention singing in Windsor pubs). God bless the Irish. An English lady.

  • Give me Storm and some Irish whiskey and letthe fun begin! Love these guys!

  • i could use some jonny jump up right bout now

  • damn its good to be irish

  • love this song . . i love all of these old gr8 irish songs and im only 17 but i love them

  • thank you thank you

  • I saw them live a few years ago....AMAZING band

  • I saw a group play Irish music on St. Patrick's Day - they played and sang this, telling us it was a singalong. Next year, I'll know all the words! This is probably the best version out there.

  • Guinness is nice, but you have to drink it at a proper pub. The canned stuff is shite.

  • Absolutely right, and what pub would be better then with actual Irish bartenders :3.

  • Hell id drink Guiness all day if it would fit the college student budget! The shit beers will have to make due til then :)

  • Guiness , one of the best beers I drank

Proud to be in a city in belgium and has an Irish pub :D Guiness ftw !

    Gaelic storm !! <3

  • irishmen drink Guinnes, not that pussy american beer like bud light

  • Funny, coulda sworn budweiser was a beer that was created in germany. Don't get me wrong, i agree that its crap and so do most americans, just college kids love it for the price.

  • @Ramm1022 There were two beers named Budweiser created in Germany, but the one you're arguing over was created in the U.S. by a German immigrant.

  • @PKFlashOmega: what the hell are you talking about ? Budweise is Czech beer. Same as Pilsner (true one).

Budweiser is a German adjective describing something or someone from the city of České Budějovice (German: Budweis) in Southern Bohemia, Czech Republic. Also Pilsner means "from Plzeň" which is the city, this divine golden beer was created.

  • @myself: created in*

  • @phonzi I'm aware... i can look up things on Wikipedia as well.

the Budweiser being argued over on this particular thread is indeed an American one though.

  • @PKFlashOmega: So, technically it's not a Budweiser, is it ? :)

  • @phonzi

Yes! Budweiser is Czech bear!... maybe the last thing I am proud of in this country :Z

  • @mantletiger Guinness ain't that strong dude...

But you're right, American beer is a lot like making love in a canoe.

    It's fucking close to water.

  • haha I saw that line by some comedians in a beer documentary on netflix. good movie. very true about american beer.

  • @mantletiger uim american give me a guiness man or bailey whiskey and im set

  • @mantletiger Hey dumbass, bud is German beer.

  • @SigandGibbs

    NOPE czech beer

  • Wow! Break out the ale, these men are thirsty!

    Cheers!

  • Great song but a Draught and Stout is 2 different kind of beers dude Draught is a draft which is what you get out of tap at bars and the stout is the amazing drink that Saint Arthur Guinness created in 1759

  • @PoeticRyan Draught isnt "A" draft...draught IS draft thats just how its spelt.

  • Graet! It makes you happy ^^

  • I love this song! Gaelic Storm is awesome, thanks! just found another celtic group i like!

  • terrible? omg.. you are so wrong.. this is music... it's much better than all the Rihanna & lady gaga- shit... That's no music- that's just fucking rubbish...

  • Rihanna can be good but yeah I don't like Lady Gaga.
