i love the times i live in. we treat models like slaves, they have no identity and are just bodes for us to work on, yet they feel important because they are convinced they are special. lol. what a time to live in .
Why use her fingers for everything? And that blush made the model's cheeks look burned. It should've been blended more or not put on in the first place.
The makeup looks good actually. Who says you can't use your hands in applying makeup? As long as your hands are clean, it dosn't matter. Do your homework sweetie.
There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to makeup but I understand your point. It's a 'basic' rule to "never" use your hands in applying makeup.
yea i dont like when ppl comment back on ur comments and they are all like, sweetie, hunny, dahhling and im like.. stop acting like ur older than me... and even if u are doesnt mean ur right all the time :)
They don't call you sweetie, hunny, etc. because they are your elders, they do it to be condesending and belittle you. And as annoying as it is, I sadly do it all the time.
She said she uses her fingertips to warm and infuse the product into the skin. Because this is a natural look, I guess they want it to look less contrived that way.
"it's just lipstick-let's not take ourselves too seriously people"....wtf...this artist is on crack and is taking herself too seriously....the model looked better towards the beginning anyhow.
the lips looked better without anything. does she use her fingers for everything? the girl doesn't look more natural than in the beginning, a bit better, but not natural.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
WTF at the very end she says nothing too sirious , LIke , SHES SO FRIKIN SERIOUS HERSELF ND SOUND LIKE A SNOB ! If i were dat modle id say , GET that shit off my lips nd looked way better wihtout the DARK DARK DARK ! CONCEALEr on lips , WTF , damn shees weird , somebody take off her witch mask , IT IANT HALOWEEN YET !
The model looked better before the makeup. I don't like the makeup artist. She seems very bossy and unfriendly. The makeup artist herself doesn't look very good either..
Also, when she is applying the eyeliner with the brush, she keeps using her fingers - she should use a smudging brush instead. It is more professional and more hygienic.
Thats just the way you're taught in school or on a course but at fashion shows etc those practises are standard. Same as using the back of your hand as a pallette, the health and safety people would have a fit but most makeup artists do it that way.

As someone else said for the eyeliner, using a smudging brush would not only be more professional but also more hygienic.
And don't call me sweetie - I'm around your age. O_o

I dont like her blush either it doesn't seem to serve the purpose of the translucent look its not really a natural flush of the cheeks

The model is wearing contact lenses. Just focus. They're CoOL.

if I had a make up artist on hand, I'd have this look all the time! XD
it is reminiscent of a sort of mod outdoor thing.. hard to explain, but it's a good connection in my mind.

I don't like it at all. The make up artist uses old fashioned techniques and those are not suitable for every face. She is an 80's woman.
SandraLondon63 4 years ago
For all that effort I think the look is really BLAND! The model IS stunning though but I just don't like this look.
